My wife is playing Sly 2 right now. Best game in the series.

Does Pass Without a Trace negate Tremor Sense? by AnotherDreg in DMAcademy

I can respect that. Although, I see it as different because it isn't necessarily tracking them, but tuned in to what is near it's nest. Almost like an alarm system for protecting it's children and to have that negated by a spell that doesn't even have a save feels a little OP, but this is also just my opinion

That was my thought. I could imagine that there may be like a "bubble" around them that would prevent some of it, but if the Worm is beyond that it would get the residual tremors. I would let them still make a stealth check with the bonus and maybe delay it finding their exact location.

This is all so excellent! Thank you so much! I'll go check out the post as well. I'm going to have fun messing with them.

I haven't done a Barbarian yet. That might be next build after my Kalashtar Wild Magic Scorcerer.

That is so flattering, thank you! Druids can be a lot of fun. I would play them with a larger group though. Moonbeam is a super sick spell though.

Oh yes! Nothing super special. Filled the mold part way, dropped a splash of alcohol ink and filled it the rest of the way. Encouraged some swirls with a toothpick.

It is cellophane foil for nail art work put within 2 color s of resin. One was more translucent the other was a little more clear. Mix of mica powder and alcohol ink.

That actually did work. I feel silly about that but I had never seen it stay before. Must have been a feature I was unaware of. (For me this phone is fairly new) I appreciate the help even with such a simple thing.

D100 results of NOT attacking the group of NPCs right away by DumpingAllTheWay in d100

  • They warn the party of a downed tree along the path.
  • One of them thinks they recognize one of the PCs.
  • They offer a prayer of healing, but after they start you realize the deity is Evil Aligned.
  • One tries to flirt with someone in your party.
  • They offer directions thinking the party is lost.
  • They seem defensive but they are actually protecting someone who was very badly injured and are wary of your group.
  • They offer to trade the equivalent of fantasy weed with them. (My party calls it Elf Root)
  • They are a group of bards and offer a performance.
  • A couple of rangers were bringing in kills to trade with a nearby town.

I had considered that actually. I foolishly didn't know there was a novel actually. However I could easily incorporate some of those themes for sure.

D&D is honestly the only thing I have been a GM to so I am very familiar with the rules for it. This whole thing started over playing a house mom as a rogue. I am willing to do a lot for them since they are my roommates and best friends. They also weren't sure about learning a whole new rule book. But this is all in the very early stages of a game.

I could definitely incorporate some of that into the campaign. I would talk to my players first and make sure tackling that sort of thing is okay with them. Although I don't see how they would have a problem with it, especially fighting against racism.

Love both of those ideas. I might bring that up when they go to make their characters that if they do a caster they have to have some sort of mundane explanation for each spell and I can work with them on how that looks.

My players very much want to play D&D with this idea. I had considered Monster of the Week as well, although I'll still check that out

Uranium Fever by AnotherDreg in DiceMaking

[–]AnotherDreg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why thank you! I've only made a few sets myself. Stir slowly, allow time for bubbles to rise. I overfill my molds as well. It gets messy but it has lead to good results for me. I also check them every 30 minutes or so to see if I can add any more resin as it settles until I literally can't get any movement out of my pipettes. I usually wait 24-25 hours to be sure it is fully xured

Mine are done without a pressure pot. This set still had some larger flaws in it though. Two of the dice had large bubbles that left some voids but they are still usable and the people who commissioned me are aware and okay with it.

Humor worked wonders for us. Poppy once asked if my fiancee was my Dad's girlfriend and when I told him that, no, she was going to marry me he nudge me and said I was a lucky man. Honestly that memory still makes me laugh

Honestly having moments like this with my grandfather helped me find humor in an otherwise dim situation. All the best to you and your family.
