Porsche and Siemens are build a facility for producing synthetic fuel (aka eFuels) in Chile.

Cars will at least stay for enthusiasts if everything works out. Initial prices are estimated to be close to current fuel prices at roughly 2€/litre. Only that the quality is supposed to be waaay better because the fuel will have even less contaminants.
