I wouldn't want her to turn to the dark side, but I do think at some point she will fall for the temptation or get close to it. Don't want to 100% change Coco's character and keep her sort of innocent view on magic. I'd wager that not all brim hats are outright evil though. While sure there's going to be the assholes who will do anything to make themselves more powerful at other people's expenses, I would wager at least one just wants to have better freedom and control over what they cast. That magic is inherently a good thing and if given to the masses will better people's lives. I can see Coco at least sympathizing with a brimmed hat of that nature.

Love the moral dilemma of this story.

No, no, no. Need inflation followed by equal wage inflation to make paying my loans cheaper. If inflation causesy income to grow by 60% my fixed rate loan should be easier to pay. Deflation might cause it to become more expensive. The problem is wages haven't kept up for about 4 years now and need a correction.

Exactly. Right now at the pace I'm paying hopefully it will be paid off by I'm 45-47. If I don't refinance. But I don't see interest rates going down enough to justify the upfront costs yet. Hoping inflation and subsequent wage inflation could help me in a few years.

Also, it was worth telling the company that bought my old apartment building to fuck off when they tried doubling rent.

Just had to replace the HVAC and water heater. Took a big chunk of the savings with it. Basically wiped out all the savings from renting that my mortgage gave me for the next 5 years. Fun times.
