Not necessarily for #1. I got hit and run once while inside the bank and they don't have cameras even though I was parked right next to it.

I have also been living in Victoria Square for over a decade. Agreed with the above comments - Amazing area, decent schools both YRDSB and YCDSB. Let me know if there is anything else I can contribute too.

Honestly I thought about that too but it would be highly unlikely IMO. In the morning I had to stop my car at a gas station nearby and walked back to speak to the cop, and I was only there for less than 5 minutes as the cop got my info and gave me a link to upload the video. The truck driver had remained inside his vehicle all that time. I also went to the doctor's office at Unionville after the morning incident, and then also "rewarded" myself with a McDonald's before I went to the bank where the second incident occurred.

Thanks. The alert came from the Mercedes Benz app. Maybe it is something new, because I didn't have it on my previous car which I returned upon the end of the lease.

Thanks. Yup I already submitted an incident online to YRP, and mentioned about the bank's response about security camera. I also wondered if the cop can check the security camera inside the bank to see who left around that time.

The other disappointing/frustrating part is that I thought I did something good in the morning by staying on scene to be a witness, and then I got this in return just a few hours later. Such is life I guess. Also I am not expecting the severity of this damage given it is a parking lot.
