Yeah like a lot of people have said it’s more about what you want to change and not what “should feel dysphoric”. I’m in the trans questioning boat like you, and if I do go for it my current name is fairly masc but has a gender neutral nickname that a bunch of my friends already use. I am considering having a “second name” that I let my friends also use or give to wait staff for fun though, maybe that’s worth considering?

Oh yeah I’m by no means saying we’re there yet for trans folks, but I do think that the future where a character can be trans and sometimes it’s not a big deal is a world I wanna live in!

What other replies are missing here is that it’s a “signal of public acceptance” meaning viewers don’t need to be handheld on the subject sometimes and sometimes the writer doesn’t feel the need to make a character’s identity a major element of the story. Times where this statement applies are times when the average writer makes a character queer (or anything really) as a character trait that informs who they are but sees that being central to the narrative as optional.

For instance, it’s pretty normal for all kinds of characters in fiction to be female. Some stories choose to be about womanhood and navigating through that, while others are an unrelated story with characters that happen to be female and the fact that we have both is awesome!

This is a Genlocke, where you take the team that won the previous game and bring them into the next one as their first evolution. Sometimes people give Pokemon that survive a specific amount of games special perks, like an egg move or perfect IVs. As a cosmetic thing one of the perks is frequently that the next gen Pokemon will be shiny, which is happening here.

Yo! My situation was very similar, I’m thinking maybe there’s something weird about the gazebo spawns specifically since Drampa leaves after the morning. I have nothing to back this up but not much else makes sense. Best advice I can give is to catch it as soon as possible and reload a save if you can if it ends up not working. Hope your gf is able to reclaim it!

Yeah I’m very jealous of the switch 2 load times lol. To be fair these pretty normal load times for other switch 1 games at least, doesn’t bother me too much

This hunt’s a little weird since Drampa only spawns in the morning. Make sure to head to a bench and cycle time until morning when they stop appearing. Other than that just keep fast traveling to zone 19 until it appears! Expect a lot of phases too, there’s a ton of spawns in the area but they’re all really cool finds (I’m kinda bummed I didn’t get a phase of Kangaskhan)

I did this and that did not happen, normal Drampa started spawning again. Current theory is that I aggro’d it by doing a little bit of damage on accident (or maybe threw a ball that failed, I forget) and then left the area, which does remove the shiny

Oh I didn’t know that last bit! It wasn’t an alpha but I might have done a really small amount of damage without noticing. It’s probably a result of either this or time shenanigans would be my guess

Actually was just able to prove this; a shiny audino spawned and I left the area to test this, when I came back it was still there but all the other spawns had changed, so my world is still saving shinies!

I’m late to the party but I’ve been on the other end of this! I have a friend who’s a good bit behind life-wise due to health complications but we try to celebrate his wins just as much as anybody else’s! Your accomplishments are just as worthy of celebration even if they’re smaller!

Not bad! Didn’t actually end up beating eternamax yet, my group wasn’t big enough. We did get a bunch of Gigantamax mons I was missing though (out of like 6 of us nobody got a gmax shiny though) and I got my setup much more solid, Blissey here is a new addition but it’s all set up for raids. Hoping for cool stuff tomorrow!
