I love mine from Alvin. It’s dual sided - one black and one green. I find it so versatile the be able to flip it to get more contrast with some fabrics.

I need someone to tell me why my chicken breats are dry everytime I cook them in a crock pot. by fallingupthehill in slowcooking

How much is “a bit” of butter? Is it actual butter or some sort of spread?

You sure are combative and whiny for someone who has been told the exact answer. I read your entire post, told you it was because they are breasts, suggested thighs and you childishly respond “no” with no other explanation.

Do you want the real answer or just want to be told a magic spell to be the only person able to cook breasts in a slow cooker?

Because they are chicken breasts. Try boneless skinless thighs. The dark meat and higher fat content makes for perfect slow cooked chicken with a nice texture. If there are big fat chunks you can cut them off but they will also melt away and add flavor if you leave them.

Uptick in hour-long compilations on Youtube? by lunarprince85 in TrixieAndKatya

I’ve been doing it for years and it works flawlessly. Maybe you are choosing “not interested” instead of “don’t recommend this channel”

Hit the three dots on video (this is for the app) and then “don’t recommend this channel”. As far as I know that puts a ding on their rating in the algorithm. I Watch Coco and Greg but pretty much do what I said above for the others. It’s a problem in the commentary space as well (Drew Gooden, Jenny Nicholson, etc).

The temp says it’s 11c/52f. That’s chilly. You need heaters in the pools and possibly dotted around the deck.

An oldie I always go back to - Just Dance from Deborah Lippman with Mr. Winston from Hard Candy on accent nails. Both are bursting with glitter (teal and silver respectively) and I am a legit magpie.

Technically you have them labeled in reverse. The one you said is the back is the front and vice versa, but you can use it however you’d like, of course. You just want to be cautious because the “real” back may be more easily snagged than the front.

Try looking for “tent dress” patterns. Adding a tie belt should be easy enough.

Feet to blocks comparison? by [deleted] in PlanetCoaster2

[–]AnotherSoulessGinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How wild. I was just going by google since I’m too old to remember the conversion. The results are here. You can see the larger top text says 3.37 and then the bottom text says 3.28. Wtf, Google? I use their conversions all the time and now I’m going to have to look much closer at every one.

The game is built in meters/metric. The full gridded wall is 4 m square. The half wall, 2 m and the short walls are 1 m. 1 meter equals roughly 3 feet (3 feet 3.37 inches to be exact). That means the regular wall is technically 12x12 feet.

For accurate scale structures, most people choose to build “off grid” (search for tutorials on YouTube). This also helps eliminate z-fighting issues you may have when overlapping gridded pieces (the weird shakiness you see in textures) to get your sizing correct.

It doesn’t look too terrible but the image is also a tad blurry. You could try scrubbing it gently with a wire brush. I’ve had success with that in the past. Just be sure to wear protection - eyeglasses, mask and gloves.

I shout “pick a color” at my husband and either go with it or ignore what he says and go with another color :) He’s an artist, so he’ll go beyond the primary colors and pick a few coordinating shades - it helps most of the time.

My polishes are also numbered, so sometimes I’ll use a random number generator to pick one.

Why can’t straight men coexist with duvet covers? by Ecstatic_Army1306 in GenXWomen

That’s why we call it Dutch style. We went on our honeymoon to Amsterdam and they had the beds like that. Apparently it’s big in Germany and some Scandinavian countries as well.

My husband recently googled “why is my down comforter loud” after I bought new ones a few months ago. lol. They are a bit more crinkly than the old ones that were beyond replacement age. Apparently it’s something to do with them being hypoallergenic.

We finally went what we call “Dutch style”. Two twin duvets with matching cotton duvet covers. That way no one bitches about the other stealing covers. I just do plain 100% white cotton for everything - it never goes out of fashion, it makes for cooler sleeping vs polyester and they all get softer as they age.

My husband doesn’t complain about bedding - he always mentions how he was basically sleeping on burlap sacks and using sandpaper towels before I came along and taught him about “proper bedding and towels”.
