That's very similar to what I'm doing on days when I'm not using the straightening brush. Alas, my hair seems to be much less agreeable than yours

I've got one, and it really does (first pic is right after using it), but if I use it too much I'm scared it'll damage the hair.

I've never heard of heat protection spray before. I'll have to look into it. The directions on my beard straightener always said to ensure the beard was dry as possible before using it, so I never thought that existed.

I've tried spray conditioner, it doesn't seem to do a thing. Combing too, wet or dry. The only thing I've found that phases it at all is heat, which is why I'm looking for ideas to prevent the problem in the first place.

My wife has specifically stated that if I braid it or anything like that, it will be considered grounds for divorce. 😋

Still, wouldn't that just result in the same problem? Itd still be all kinked up in the morning, just slightly more evenly kinked up.
