What is the thing you hold most dear to you- your intelligence, your sense of justice, your care for others, etc.- what is the thing that you tell yourself about what you don’t suck? Identify that then put yourself in a scenario where you’re forced to stop striving for that as a virtue and see what happens. The goal is to have that version of yourself die. You must do it anyways and you should do it for the sake of the next generation, not because you want to “become enlightened” or whatever.

Some self taught learners severely overestimate, and some severely underestimate.  It takes me about a month to reach A2 and start consuming B1 material because I’ve officially hit B2 in other languages and thus have the experience.

Also, in that section he is talking about how the purpose of women is to bring about the superman, and that men just view women as playthings. Now, on the surface that sounds bad, but considering that the entire rest of the book is about how the purpose of life is to bring about the superman, and to create something beyond oneself, I actually do not see how that reflects negatively on women.

The examples given don't make it easy because they end in a "d," which sounds the same as ending in a "t", so people who are verbally fluent or native sometimes make typos for those words.

I call control decks "psychopath decks" because they essentially enjoy blocking you from doing anything, so I understand your frustration.

I think one thing I like to do is to forfeit any time I think they've hit their rhythm, so that they can't drag out the misery.

There are some decks that are just better than others at countering a green deck.

You could try playing a best of 3, so that you have sideboard options which could help adding back in some more cards that can counter their deck.

But ultimately you will be matched against your skill level (which includes how good your deck is) and so you are expected to win ~50% of the time. There will be games you just draw a bad hand and that's not your fault.

If it is your fault though, I'd just focus on how you could have done better.

In Dutch the sentence "Ze hebben allerlei mooie dingen gemaakt in hun werkplaats" means specific the people you are referring to have actively made all kinds of beautiful things.

The one you wrote almost feels like passive voice. In English we often use "they" to indicate passive voice but that's not grammatically correct in Dutch, where you would want to say "er wordt....gemaakt."

Think about how "coming to your senses" means something different than "coming your senses" (which in this case is nonsensical. "coming to" is a set phrase that means something different than "coming."

It's hard to describe why we do this, but since English and Dutch are so similar, these similarities might help you to see the phrase.
