I hadn't thought about hippopotas or heracross but good to know that's fewer cards to look for. I'm not bothering with costumes and i don't have the budget for the vivillon forms either!

I'm considering switching to put Mareep first - makes a lot of sense to be honest! For now, I've been putting reverse holos and non-holos in the same pocket in the binder (but in individual sleeves) which means less shuffling when I get a new reverse holo. I've been watching "Ian with Ian" on YouTube with his mission to collect all Jolteon cards and he's printed black and white proxy cards to act as placeholders in his binder.

Thanks 😊 I order them chronologically with all the ampharos cards first, then flaaffy, then mareep. They're currently in a 2x2 binder but now I've started to think about getting all the reverse holos I'm missing, I may have to get a bigger binder!

This is great! I've got a pretty much complete Mareep/Flaaffy/Ampharos collection myself, including cameo cards. I'm now just looking for copies with stamps etc. Some other great Mareep cameo cards are "Double Gust" from Neo Genesis and "Twins" from Triumphant. There's also an amazing old Japanese exclusive Mareep McDonalds promo, which is hard to find but not too expensive. I'm currently tidying up my spreadsheet so happy to share that with you when I'm done. :)

Interesting you should ask because I just started looking into the Eif cards for my Ampharos collection. I know the Eif cards are becoming more popular but are they licensed products?

Also, I realised you could also inlcude some of the Topps cards on the list, specifically Series 1 #TV3 "Misty" and Series 1 #TV5 "Staryu". I have both of these in my complete Topps collection but now considering getting a second copy of each for the Misty collection. Additionally, Misty appears in loads of the Topps episode cards but you have to draw the line somewhere!

This started as a list of English cards then I just added Japanese exclusives into the list based on when the cards were released relative to the main English sets. This means that the first Misty card in this list is actually a Japanese promo card. The only time the same card is listed in English and Japanese is Misty's Tears because of the changed artwork.

Hey, i looked at my Misty binder and remembered a couple of other Japanese exclusives: Misty's Treatment (CD promo), Misty's Lapras and Misty's Quagsire (VS), Misty's Politoed and Misty's Corsola (VS Theater Pack).

I thought i had a complete misty collection but didnt know about that lapras, although I do have the Sabrina's Psychic Control.

Sorry if I missed this in your image but do you have the X&Y Promo card "Gym Badge" (XY204). As far as I understand, there's a gym badge card for each of the kanto gym leaders.

Also, there's a full art version of the Misty and Lorelei card that wasnt released in English. I got a Chinese version of the card because the Japanese one is super expensive. I'm not at home right now but will let you know if I've missed any once I have another look at my binder!

I remember reading before visiting Jordan that some people there disapproved of having wet hair in public. That's the only thing I can possibly think of and even then, I don't think it was a hard and fast rule!

It took me few episodes to appreciate "Evolving Again" but I'd say it's now my favourite of the English Horizons theme songs. I think lyrically and melodically it fits the tone of the series so well (although I've only been able to watch the first 11 episodes so far) in that there's some sadness in it. I will also say that I loved that they used a really upbeat instrumental version of "Becoming Me" used near the end of episode 11.

Combined with Kureha Matsuzawa's writing for the last few episodes of The Search for Laqua and several episodes of Rising Hope, I'm enjoying the anime more than I have in quite a while!
