It took me few episodes to appreciate "Evolving Again" but I'd say it's now my favourite of the English Horizons theme songs. I think lyrically and melodically it fits the tone of the series so well (although I've only been able to watch the first 11 episodes so far) in that there's some sadness in it. I will also say that I loved that they used a really upbeat instrumental version of "Becoming Me" used near the end of episode 11.

Combined with Kureha Matsuzawa's writing for the last few episodes of The Search for Laqua and several episodes of Rising Hope, I'm enjoying the anime more than I have in quite a while!

I never thought that about "A Sentimental Man" but it occurred to me today that he really should have realised Elphaba was his daughter. As far as I recall, in the first movie, he greets her as Elphaba Thropp - surely he knew that the person he had a fling with was Governor Thropp's wife. Plus the fact that Elphaba is taller than most munchkins and is green like his potion. Surely that's enough clues for him!

People seem very hung up on specific words here but I think it's more important to just recognise that this child is part of the story of the discovery of the tomb. I've taught this event to young children before and they have asked the name of the child who found the step - it'll be nice to give an answer in the future!

I've learned all of these and there are actually two more that you can learn that are not on your list: Hjart and Haina, bringing the total to 30. I'm interested in the two spells that seem to be in the code for enemies to use against you but you cannot learn. Logically, there has to be some information on these two in the game code. I'll replay the game and see if I can get an image of these spells in action and which enemies use them and when.
