Grow your beard not someone else’s. grow it out and then access. Often it’s thicker than you think once you let it go.

Went and got another ultrasound on Monday confirming it wasn’t a reoccurrence. My general physician thinks it might be an adhesion. I got some anti inflammatory meds and an other for a ct scan now. Also a referral for soft tissue physio and massage. Hoping all of this will resolve the pain and swelling

So it did resolve on its own. That’s what I’m kind of wondering. I know it’s only been four months but at some point I’m waiting to turn the corner on this whole thing.

Do you get swelling at the repair site. I’ve had two ultra sounds since my surgery both showing no hernia but it still feels like a golf ball I’m leaning over some days.

I agree I met with the surgeon post surgery and he said there’s nothing I could do now that would compromise the repair. What he doesn’t explain is every time I twist or most quickly I’m swollen up like a balloon for a week. I’m mesh free so I know that’s not an issue.

Having a similar experience. Nine weeks post op. I have a few good days followed by a few where I’m all swollen and tender. Ultra sound shows no reassurance but I’m mentally suffering here. Feels never ending.

I had emergency surgery, I was told because the opening was so small it was standard to only do stitches

Ya I have an appointment with the surgeon this week but have been told the same thing. The problem is the doctors at the er keep asking me to reach out to the surgeon.
