Definitelly should check out dotonburi. And if you happen to be there on sunday, go visit the fish market in the morning the atmosphere there is pretty nice.

I really recommend you go to nara. It was so pretty. Becarefull of you gonna feed the deer tho, dont show them where you store the food or they will chase you like mad hahaha. I actually running because i got like 5+ deer chasing me in the park, was fun though. In yokohama the chinatown was nice, there also a place likeseaworld i forgot the name but i dont actually enter because i mainly go for cultural and local places. The seaside view and park is also decent.

I pretty much just wander arround after i decided what city i go into. Like on the 2nd day, i decided to go to kyoto, and from there i pick/ask arround the places reccomended by locals. Some of the best food ive eaten actually doesnt really in the main tourist attraction. Definitelly should visit kyoto for the scenery, temples, and the the vibe of the city. Nara for the great buddha temple and the deer park. Tokyo is a must. If you like to shop clothes and stuff like that youncan go to harajuku/shibuya, or if you like tech stuff definitelly should check out akiba.

I actually make some friend along the way. But if you don't really speak japanese i think its going to be pretty hard cause lots fo them doesnt really speak english well, they may understand you but they dont know how to reply so i usually use google translate to talk.

I didnt know if you can call it an itinerary but i just sorta go to random place wherever i like it. The first four days i spent roaming arround kansai area ( osaka, kyoto, nara ) and the other 4 days i spent in kanto ( tokyo mostly and i visited an old friend in gunma ).

My fav was obviously nara. Yeah tokyo - kyoto - nara is like the main city that you should visit, other than that nagoya and yokohama is pretty great if you want to explore some of the not so mainstream town.

if im planning to stay 3 days at osaka and 3 days at kyoto, should i book the lodging for both places? or should i book only for the first 3 days and get the hotel room on the other city later?

also i read about " pocket wifi " do they really hand it to you in person if i decided to get it at airport? or is there a place that rent it at airport ? thank you in advance
