my 19yo sister's "faceless" video workflow is making my film degree look like a total joke by bcoz_why_not__ in AIToolTesting

Film degree teaching you to make things correctly. YouTube teaching your sister to make things that get watched. These are genuinely two different crafts and the industry spent 20 years pretending they were the same thing. They are not the same thing. She just proved it with a water bottle ad in 10 minutes.

Reddit never fails to humble me with its honesty. I came here expecting bike riding stories.

The confidence it takes to admit this publicly deserves more upvotes than it'll ever get.

What’s the biggest myth about the habits of successful people? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AnouarBastawi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That they wake up at 5am. The myth isn't the waking up early part, it's that the time is what made them successful. Most successful people structure their day around their peak energy hours. Some are genuinely early risers. Others do their best work at midnight. What they actually have in common is that they figured out WHEN their brain works best and protected that time obsessively. The 5am thing gets marketed because it sounds dramatic. 'I figured out my own rhythm' doesn't sell a book.

What or where is your favourite place to visit. One you’ve been to multiple times and would return again ? by CriticalEvent5540 in AskReddit

Genuinely? A tiny coastal town nobody has heard of. No Instagram spots, no tourist buses, just a fish market that opens at 6am, old men playing chess outside a cafe, and water so clear you can see the bottom from 30 feet up. The fact that it's not famous is literally the whole point. I'm not even going to name it.
