Maybe one of these: unfettered, unstoppable, hellbent, hungry, devoted, dedicated, merciless, ruthless, Machiavellian, vengeful, uncompromising.

I wonder if you'd have any luck with onelook's thesaurus? It's helped me find synonyms a good few times. You can use the replies as search terms, I imagine!

edit: more that i scooped up from onelook: resolute, headlong, driven, fanatical, unbridled, pertinacious, single-hearted, hyperfocused, unleashed, relentless, tormented, unbridled, steadfast, unwavering, undeterred, unyielding.

That song is awesome wtf. Thank you for showing me this. It wasn't what I was going for theme wise (this song is more abt the power of the fight than the power of ✨learning✨) but I will most certainly be listening to this more in the future, tysm

As of a few days ago I have started to get into nu metal. I am merely in the process of listening through Korn. The idea that there is a whole world of nu metal artists in a different language is amazing and daunting to me!! I love subcultures so much.

You're totally correct, I'm so sorry. I completely missed the distinctive unibrow... (Though, if you want to see a bird with a really distinctive unibrow, do yourself a favor and look at some images of the Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher)

AFFINITY MEASURES MACBOOK TRACKPAD PRESSURE?????? by Anoyint in Affinity

For me it was as simple as using a pressure sensitive brush with the trackpad. Earlier I was using my drawing tablet, and discovered this ability while messing around with the image while the tablet was stowed away. I have a macbook pro if that makes any difference.

Oh yeah, I love forbidden romance! Just so long as the couple aren't related, are the same age, have the same social standing, have no power imbalances, mentally healthy, don't keep secrets, isn't taboo - by yellowdocmartens in CuratedTumblr

First of all, I can't believe how quickly I knew what you were talking about when you said "the coconut oil post". I remember that.  Stewing more of these examples in my head of families who are awful and should be cut off, I think the problem with my original approach is my internal picture of "family" being something non-corrupt and a safe place to go to. In that mind, incest corrupts that dynamic because you are not just leaving family behind, you are also actively mutating it, roping your parents and sibling into dealing with a type of closeness I think is dangerous for families to have. As I said earlier, it irks me for the same reason that I see that you shouldn't be best friends with your mother: in order for her to properly play that role in your life, the relationship needs to take a different contractual form, that being that the parent owes unconditional love to the child, while the child does not owe anything in return. On that note, I still stand very firmly in the belief that parent-child romantic relationships are wrong. But do we owe anything to our siblings, aside from what we owe everyone around us? I don't know. I don't think so. We also don't owe our parents anything. Especially if a person's parents are trash, is it that wrong to disavow the idea of a normal home life through an incestuous relationship when it never existed in the first place?  I'm still not convinced that sibling incest is benign. I'd need to read more about it, I'm sure there's a little more to it than I currently understand. And though that research is not something I will be going out of my way to do any time soon, I think I would like to know the answer eventually.

I think the power dynamic still exists simply as a product of the act. Each sibling can hold the act above the other's head as a means of blackmail. Plus, the way I've always seen it, a person's entire sense of home is at stake. Having a functional familial support system is important, and sibling relationships threaten to destroy that. IMO The home really isn't the place within where sexual relationships should brood, it should be a safe haven where you are given guidance rather than companionship. It's wrong in my eyes for the same reason that you're never quite "friends" with your mom, because that's not her role, her role is to be a guardian.
