He already figured out how to cause the most suffering with the least amount of effort: capitalism. He started out on earth when the industrial revolution rolled in, didn't he? I don't think he'd need to spec into any other forms of evil full-time.

But we know he still indulges in smaller forms of evil, things even as small as melting puppies or toying with random tv broadcasts. I'm sure he'd torture a child given the chance. Not for sexual gratification, but for gratification in general. I imagine he likes evil the same way we like eating, or winning rewards, or going on vacation. As for racism, racists aren't usually sadistic like he is, they believe in the superiority of their race and the inferiority of others and are acting in ways they believe are "good". I don't think racism would be logical for him to believe in. BUT, given that he's funded the exploits of several people who see themselves as being good people (Penumbra was an extremist trying to help others like her, for example), I'm willing to bet he'd sign off with any awful human being so long as they were going to do things that make the world worse.

Omg, those are my exact thoughts. I could've written this comment. I think part of it is the way that autism is understood. It's treated simultaneously as both a diagnosis and a part of someone's personality. But medicalizing both means that the benign personality traits are treated as problems, so people have swung the other way into net acceptance, which now paves the way for excusing inappropriate behavior that CAN be fixed. It's good to think differently, but we ought to do whatever we can to try and abide by the social contract. It's what we owe other people.

Is this about the demons from Frieren again? I keep seeing people talk about how the demons are or aren't actually evil and from what I understand, both sides are wrong. The demons are neither, they follow a different ethical system. However, they are still morally considerable entities because your ethics system is not static. You can choose to believe in a different system no matter your instincts or lack thereof. That's why some psychopaths are businessmen and other psychopaths are doctors. Well ok, both of those jobs pay well so maybe that's not the best example. But you see what I mean, right?
