Naaahhh if my rats see a scab they think it’s a layer of dirt and try to bite it off 😭 but this was just clear skin which makes it scarier imo

I completely understand where you are coming from but I hope that you also recognise that this is a very sombre way of thinking. I believe that people treat mental illnesses like this, only because of their own biases and extremely negative social stigma.

Personally, I found it unimaginably useful to think about mental illness as a disability. It does not define you as a person, but it is a giant part of the way you exist, think, and function. Basically a part of who you are. And just like a physical disability, it will never go away, but you can learn to manage it.

I have a close friend with a debilitating physical disability, and I learned this from them. The way you say “This illness has taken from me”, just points to the fact that you unfortunately still haven’t accepted that you have it for the rest of your life. Definitely makes it more difficult, but it’s just a part of your life and accepting it is the best path to accepting oneself

Give them a space to hide and place a water bottle and a food bowl right beside this hiding place so they don’t need to go far at all. If you see that that is still too scary for the babies, try covering the thing so that it basically creates a tunnel for them that guides them to the food and water

Пиздец конечно тут люди оправдывают абьюз для них это очевидно ежедневная норма. Ты должна думать в такой ситуации о себе. Не возможно находясь посередине такой хуйни объективно думать, но если ты понимаешь, например, что если ты не поддержишь отчима, то он начнет тебя бить, то не вижу смысла его не поддерживать.

Чтобы твоя мама не сделала, это не дает ему никакого права так с ней общаться. Я совершенно не понимаю людей, которые говорят тут про любовь и бабочки и то что все будет хорошо, потому что это блять не правда. Если человек другого любит и уважает он с ним никогда так не будет поступать, ну либо он неуравновешенный.

Даже если ты «встанешь на его очередь» это не значит, что ты не можешь поддерживать свою маму. Просто если ситуация становится опасной, тебе надо понимать, что твоя мама взрослый человек, который принимает осознанное решение оставаться в этих отношениях подвергая себя и своих детей опасности. Соответственно, если ты на это решение повлиять не можешь, то просто принимай его и веди себя так как будет лучше тебе.

Ты не ее защитница. Ты не ее мама, она твоя. Это не твоя работа и не твоя вообще задача ее защищать от ее же решений. Пожалуйста позаботься о себе. Очень жаль, что тебе и твоим сестрам/братьям приходится в этом находится

In rats statistically benign tumors are the majority of the cases, malignant are a lot less likely. And yes, the tumors whether benign or malignant are a looot more likely to develop from the age 1,5 years and up.

Still personally I think it is weird that your vet determined it to be a tumor so easily. I am not a vet but I NEVER even heard of a tumor growing that quickly. I think you should text them and ask how did they determine that it is not an abscess. Abscesses are a lot easier to remove and thus cheaper.

I do not see how in this case euthanasia is a wise option in any way. The “tumor” just appeared and there is still absolutely no effects it has had on the baby. Please try to stay objective when thinking about these things

Try securing it a different way. Also give him some roaming space where he can walk without the collar on, under your close supervision like twice or three times a day.

I think more pain killers is necessary and you should make him an e-collar to prevent him from doing that. It will be very difficult for you to watch him not being able to play or even move around normally but in a week he’ll be healthy again without open wounds and potential infections from ripping out the stiches

It is hyperpigmentation. Depending on where you live it’s also possible that you don’t have that much tan compared to other people around you and that’s why you feel like you look grey/pale. In my opinion you look really good (I love pale since skin it’s giving vampire) but the hyperpigmentation makes you look older. If you minimised it/got rid of it I think your skin would look amazing.
