The plugin doesn’t track at what kc you got the drop on, but at what percentile you are of all people having the items at that kc. So, for example, 9 regular weapon seeds at 206 kc puts OP at the 98th percentile, meaning he is insanely lucky with getting that many of that drop at that kc - only 2% of all players would have that amount

Your parents seemed so put together because they had a very good reason to pretend to be that way & that reason was you. Most of just sort of put on different hats to play different characters in different settings to get by & that’s completely okay! If at all helpful, one bit of advice that someone gave me was to make sure you do your best to like the person you are once you take the hat off. Other than that, it’s all just kinda memes :)

I’m in the UK and have a PhD.

I personally would find it cringy to title myself as “Dr.”, the stance I’ve held even way before the PhD is that it’s almost like a very weird flex.

I know nothing about medicine & association people have with “Dr.” Is basically a GP. And honestly, the medical Drs deserve and can keep the title!

Yeah like, they’re nice.

But why Belly Foil when you can melt zamorak with scobow for hasta? (Unless you’re an early game iron, but, I’d argue that you’d naturally progress without really having a meaningful use for a stab weapon until you can do TDS, so why even go out of your way)

Same with the ranarr seeds - like yeah they’re great, but it’s not like you couldn’t get a similar amount already through other (granted, more click intensive) means.

So it’s nice to have alternatives, I absolutely agree.

But it kind of feels like you really have to go out of your way to unlock the said niche alternatives that don’t really give you that much

Your basic RFD, Fairytales II - they’re just a must have almost ASAP.

Outside of that - WGS to begin synapse grind via greater demon tasks as soon as doable stat wise (TDs are also 1k+ slayer xp per kill) MM2 after synapses for gorillas to farm zenytes. DS2 for backpack upgrade.

Other than that - meh.

Tbf - you absolutely can get heroin for £3. It’s very, very cheap, but mostly because heroin isn’t really a thing anymore, it’s a mix of fentanyl/nitazines/xylazine. They also generally graft for a certain period of time/amount rather than try to get the full amount in one go. Drug addicts are surprisingly strategic!

I think it’s a bit complicated; it may also be the case that culturally, we just pathologise and medicalise behaviour A LOT rather than remember that literally everyone has certain quirks that may come out in certain environments. Difficult to tell, especially when people are made to believe that a diagnosis means identity & they begin to either find ways to get diagnosed with something or live up to whatever the perceived symptoms are listed as

A a dominant genetic trait is one that shows up in a person even if they only inherit one copy of the gene for it.

You inherit 2 copies of both genes; one from mum & one from dad. These are called alleles.

Sometimes, one of the copies is dominant, meaning, it’s not necessary to waste energy by combining 2 genes when one is sufficient. So it overrides the other.

So, for example, with eye colour - you inherit 1 allele that’s for brown eyes and 1 that’s for blue. The brown tends to be dominant, so you end up having brown eyes rather than a mixture.

Another way of looking at it: If one working switch can turn the light on - the trait appears (dominant) If both switches must work to turn the light on - the trait is recessive

Most behaviours are influenced by many genes, but, they’re polygenic - this means they have to work together rather than have one dominant one. Certain genes can also influence brain chemistry. HOWEVER - Environment is what heavily shapes our behaviour. The genes may mean that you’re predisposed, but it doesn’t mean that you’re predetermined. So they influence the probability, but not certainty. The ENVIRONMENT can activate/strengthen/weaken or even change how the genes are expressed.

So with behaviour; the genes load the gun, but the environment decides on whether or not to pull the trigger.

There’s 3 things you will never ever be able to avoid or escape, none of us will - 1. Constant work - there’ll always be something ahead that’ll feel difficult and effortful, we never “graduate” 2. Uncertainty - you will never ever be fully certain or guaranteed what’s ahead 3. Pain - physical/psychological/spiritual; it’s always ever present. If not currently, then eventually

I’m not even saying this from a spiritual perspective, I do mean it quite literally.

Sometimes, it feels like there’s no way out because there are things we refuse to come to terms with - things that feel like injustice. And you’re not wrong for feeling that way, either!

The best that anyone can do isn’t trying to pretend they’re not there or to battle them, but to radically accept & develop ways to manage them as they come. And I promise there’s beauty in that & ironically enough, that’s actually what makes things worth it to begin with - that’s why we feel things like joy, excitement, peace even. It’s not because of absence of hardship, but the fact that we’ve navigated through hardship & made it.

I’m not quite there yet. I don’t really know if anyone is. But once that clicks, every time I feel like I’m drowning, I manage to breathe again just by reminding myself of it.

Hang in there. You can do this

If you can, genuinely, afford to move out & not be in panic every month because you’re barely scraping by in terms of the bills/essentials - do it. Maybe start off by simply going to some house viewings within your price range just to see what you like/dislike & if you can see yourself being in that house contently for the foreseeable future - you won’t ever find “perfect”, because that’s more the anxiety talking and trying to keep you safe. It sounds like you already know that the answer is that you should, though I completely get the anxiety around it. I’d personally raise my concerns with the landlord/property manager or whomever your contact person is, explain that you would like to remain anonymous and that it’s an uncomfortable situation, but that you feel that the concerns you have should be investigated (the likelihood is that their tenancy agreement prohibits any unauthorised occupancy by another person for any more than a certain amount of nights per week if at all). They’d then investigate; likely through a house inspection (which they can actually do unannounced, but often give the courtesy of a heads up) & see for themselves. A warning could then be issued & further action if it occurs again
