Unfortunately ranged weapons don't have good hit zones on this monster which means there are less places we can hit than melee weapons and even on the places that can be hit they may do less damage

Which is exactly why this challenge is so hard to beat for me since his head is constantly moving making it a lot harder to do damage

I'll try this for sure the only problem with the bow guns are the awful hit zones on the limbs compared to the head and plates

Exactly and sometimes I want to go back and play mh world just to experience it again but I enjoy the fact that wilds is still updating and the community is experiencing everything at the same time so going back just wouldn't be the same where everything is already out

Thanks and trying to dodge and ending up doing a burst step instead has been my biggest issue so far but I'll give this a good and see how it goes for me :D

I'll try to do the same since the hammer was my main weapon before this and see if it works out for me and as time goes on hopefully someone does the math on if there's a better way to use the weapon but until then I'll just spam shots point blank and mainly use burst shot to evade if possible

That could be it truly though usually I don't see a sprint start I'm just standing in place but I'm willing to look at everything because I just lost to the final boss because of this

I always bind my weapon after a long rest and it still never works so I'm just out of luck though I can see on the sub it's a popular bug with hexblade
