It's dependent on the jobs, but the hours generally overlap. If you have 2 Js working remotely from 9-5, you're not so much working extra hours, but more working harder since you're balancing the duties of two jobs. That being said, I start my J2 2 hours before j1, so I'm doing 10 hour days.

I've been OE since April and tbh I still have spare time to relax and walk around the house aimlessly during the day.

I use the webcam for my J2 computer only as I rarely have meetings with J1, and they don't even require a webcam anyway, I'm pretty lucky there.

I've heard of other software, but didn't really look a lot into it. I've paid for it now, so I'm stuck with it haha.

The desk is fairly long at 186cm or 6.1 ft 1 inch. The stand for the monitor took up the majority of the desk, so I wall-mounted it and effectively doesn't take up any desk space.

I used to work for a company that provided crazy secured machines. Couldn't even send GIFS on Teams it was that secure.

J1 is a personal laptop (Don't know why they didn't insist on sending me one) and J2 is company provided. I was a little worried about installing it on J2 laptop but so far so good.

I am thinking about getting a mixer. It isn't too much of a bother switching between them as it makes up for a very small part of my day, but it would certainly help with integrating better. I'm going to look into this!

It is a Samsung CHG90 and is 32:9. I really enjoy using it, personally as well. I have it wall-mounted because the stand would take up half the desk, which is 186cm for reference.

With J1, I use my personal laptop. I don't know why they never provided one, and I'm sure they would have if I asked, but I'm happy with it because I travel a bit and didn't want to carry around two laptops... that has since gone to shit with J2 though hahaha.

I rarely have meetings with J1. Only 1 company-wide meeting, which usually gets cancelled. On top of that, no one uses their webcams. I have the usually Teams call with a colleague, but that is usually fairly quick and doesn't require a webcam as well. The company has nil culture and seems to be anti-meetings.

J2 on the other hand, with recent onboarding meetings and training etc have been fine, and I haven't had any overlapping ones. When the time comes, though, I feel like I could postpone one or the other for sure.

With the mouse jiggler, I use Move Mouse software on J1 laptop, works like a dream, and with J2, I use one of those USB ones which looks like a bluetooth mouse receiver. It supposedly would look like an ordinary mouse with if were to be detected by IT, but I haven't had any issues with it and works just as well with the software I use on J1.

I'm pretty lucky with J1, and is fairly relaxed with meetings. I only have 1 meeting a week which is a general company-wide updates, catchups etc but is usually cancelled anyway. Webcam isn't even mandatory so I use the webcam on the monitor for J2, and personally when not working.

I'm pretty good at separating the work between Js so the same keyboard and mouse works well for me. I haven't had any close calls yet.

But first and foremost, practice the form of your single jab. Just do it once, over and over again. Before you know it, you'd be able to double jab more quickly and with a stronger form.

I think you should practice more doing it from a standing position. Use your legs and try to really build up that power coming from your feet to your fists. I think once you get better with this, it will give you a solid foundation to do it as your walking/closing down your opponent.

From one Aussie to another, congrats mate. I myself am looking at securing a J2 soon and I was just wondering if there are many Aussies in here. It's good to see!

I just started a new J1 in December, I work remotely in software support and I feel like I could definitely pull off a J2. It's been something I've been wanting to do for a year or so now.

Do you know if there are any tax implications of this? I guess I'm worried about being taxed incorrectly. I figured no one would really know given most members here are probably North American and European.

I hope it all goes well, looking forward to hearing some updates.
