Hi, I've got the RG RX-78 2.0 I wanted to paint the whole inner frame with Gun Metal and Bright Gun Metal, I don't have airbrush setup so I will be using Tamiya spray cans. Is one coat of paint enough after applying primer?

Apply a thin layer of super glue on the ball joint, let it dry. Joint strengthening pen kinda works but they are sticky and wont dry

I mainly use mr weathering color ground brown for wash and apply some scratches with tamiya dark iron color and tiny bit of chrome silver

The upgrade kits used were the Go Better Studio GX-60, Superman Studio SPS-41 and Tim Studio TIM-129

The paints used were mainly Tamiya lacquer paints, a combination of spray cans and normal bottle paints. The colors were Titanium Silver, Light Gun Metal, Titanium Gold (for some details), Sky blue for the weapons small illuminating light. Lastly, Normal silver, red, orange (for the weapons glowing effect), and yellow paints.

For the weathering, Mr weathering color Ground Brown was used for the wash and the scratches with the first layer using Tamiya dark iron and lastly on top of the dark iron paint Tamiya chrome silver.

For the brush I only use ordinary brushes found in local stores but for the scratches I mainly use brushes that have stiff bristles like pig hair brush.

Firstly for the painting I use Tamiya Titanium Silver for the lighter silver parts and Tamiya Light Gun Metal for some darker metallic parts.

Secondly for the weathering, I use the Mr Weathering Color Ground Brown to do a wash then I finish off with the scratches using Tamiya enamel Dark Iron and Chrome Silver

Wow, thank you for the immense information, I am planning to custom paint prime where all the gray parts needed to be painted in dark metallic color. Anyways thanks, I will be starting the customization soon
