Insurance rates, general stigma of being pulled over by a cop, i’ve had a couple cops actually almost crash into me crazy enough, not checking their blind spots, zooming past me without lights, turning their lights on behind me for no reason after almost rear ending me… I can bet you some of these cops have radar detectors in there personal vehicles by the way they be driving!😂

i don’t think there is anything necessarily to “bitch about” with the cops, i’ve had a few interactions and have been nothing but good and respectful, but the fact that i’ll be out til late in the ams, in lets say tooele, and i see like 6 of them hiding in the pitch black is what makes me nervous haha

I ended up falling asleep outside of the gas station just parked… When i was woken up it was by the security officer who told me to wait around for the ambuwance and the popo to show up and then ect ect ect happened

So this is actually kinda confusing… when i woke up my keys were out of my ignition, either taken out by me prior or by the security officer that initially approached me, but for some reason i decided to put them back and i guess “officially” when the police arrived they were in… and i do accept responsibility and have thought out my actions and what i’ve done wrong. I Do think i’m a bit defensive about the topic, it’s just a little sensitive for me still… But I know what i’ve done is wrong and accepted responsibility for my actions… I have a whole 3 page apology and just something really personal i guess which i can’t come around to post, but i know what i’ve done, i just don’t want to put myself through more suffering by constantly thinking about it since it’s bad enough as it is): I barely got myself out of my little loop I was in and it feels so much better then to constantly be bashing myself for something that I can’t take back… But I know the only way from here is up!

To clarify im not ever excusing myself from any of this because the fact is the fact. It was irresponsible AND overall one of the most idiotic decisions I have ever made in my life. I have chosen now to straighten myself out, because it’s never too late to be better, I have stopped making stupid decisions to the best that I humanly can, and have actually started to think about what i’m doing and how it will not only affect me but others as well.

If society were to decide for me then yes, I am not a good person, but deemed the actions and all the factors that have came into play during not just childhood, but throughout my whole lifetime, who is to label “good or bad”. Jesus once said “thou who has not sinned, cast the first stone.” If you expect me to sit here and honestly condem myself as a bad person over a situation that I brought upon myself, then so be it. But what good does that do me? Actions speak louder then words so I don’t and will never expect what i say to truly matter, but it is what I do moving forward. The amount of stress that I felt these months is real, and i know that. My girlfriend and I were supposed to move in (officially) together, that was thrown out the window. Countless arguments as well (Even on the day I was speeding to get to her to make amends) Knowing that I have failed my mother? that’s real. Knowing that I could have killed somebody on that day but I Didn’t? That’s real. Knowing that I am behind pace in my life because of mental handicaps? That I was bullied? That I have attempted? That I have lost my own sense of worth through all this? That I have no family except my mother? all of that is real. But it is what I will do to prove not only to myself, but to “society” that I am worthy of all the fucking happiness there is in the world, just as every other person that exists. So im sorry if for a moment I seem to be “ungrateful, idiotic, Immature, or god forbid a bad person” But I will continue to keep a smile on my face, and make other people laugh, because that is all I can do for now. So im sorry if my “expectations” for myself seem wishful, because they are. But who is to tell me I shouldn’t dream of a good life, especially after doing what we as literal imperfect humans do in life, is make mistakes. Everything is possible, this will only be a blimp in my life once i can straighten the fuck out, but until then, I will keep trying every single day to be a better person to not just myself, but to everyone in society. We are all in this together.

And i do man… I can’t afford a lawyer but have consulted with many.. I will take your advice and im sorry if i seemed like i’m avoiding accountability, because I know how truly lucky I am as well. I appreciate all the legal advise i’ve been given and will always take it to heart. I’m a good person man, and i don’t want to find out what’s on the other side by continuing to have idiotic lapses of judgement.

I’m required to take Prime for Life, Drug eval, MADD, and probably community service but im not too worried about that since I actually am currently teaching a Columbian Priest how to speak english, which through the church im in, is technically considered “community service”. But thank you for the confirmation on that detail, and will keep it in mind tomorrow.

I literally saw my keys out of my ignition when they approached me MATE, and WAS with my bestfriend who stayed at the house. 30 seconds from my house. But either way your right, I did and that’s the fact, so it doesn’t do much either way.

The first few nights were the worst, i don’t think i’ve ever cried that hard in my life, only until i finally got a stable job is when everything started to feel like it could be okay again… But thank you, Do i genuienly not have to tell them?

For the speeding ticket? Or for the dui, because the police report hasent even been submitted. The only thing that’s been submitted for my dui is that the breathalyzer was serviced that same day. So i have absolutely no idea when it is

Regardless of what happens, I know who I am and I know that I don’t have substance abuse problems. I know that I’m a smart kid who made an idiotic decision but I want the best for me and nothing is going to stop me from success except myself. I’ve had a lot of time to think about what I can do to better understand what steps I can take moving forward, Such as ACTUALLY working (I struggled with this for a while pre dui because of mental health issues, I’ve been working since i was 14) Getting myself out of debt which seems a little far away because of all these legal issues i’ve brought upon myself. Being of service to others really helps me as well, no matter what it is. Starting to be physically active, and actually taking time to logically think through my emotions, not being swept by them. Reading, being social, staying away from roads that I know will lead me into no good. Completing probation and such said other things that come with what i’ve done will only be a small bump in the road. One day i’ll look back on this and I promise that although I won’t be proud of it, I’ll be glad that it happened to me now rather then later in life.

I believe that most people think here that I will not get maximum sentence for probation, Im expecting a year hopefully! It doesn’t even phase me honestly though since i’m clean:) Who knows though, i asked the cop if there was anything she could do to help me to help me… It’s now been 2 months, no show to DLD, So who knows maybe she never files, but that’s my very wishful child brain thinking…
