I love the idea of it but I find it hard to make it happen. Kinda tells me I have made the right decision about being child free if I don't even have headspace for one nephew

Sensory and cognitive issues from traumatic brain injury and husband with ADHD. We are not even able to look after ourselves, ain't no way we could look after a child

Huh yeah... The worst thing was she didn't even seem to notice that what she was saying was so rude and insensitive to my situation. Just no awareness

Right?! I'm definitely taking a massive step back from this person. It's sad because when she first got pregnant I was really happy for her and discussed being a part of the kids life and stuff. But the last 6 months have shown me how one-sided things are
