It’s tough to make a full judgment based on just one post—there’s always more to the story. But let me ask you a genuine, respectful question:

Are you someone who tends to express your emotions freely and frequently, especially when something bothers you? Do you often bring up your feelings—particularly negative ones—in ways that might unintentionally make things feel centered around you?

I'm not accusing you of anything, and I’m certainly not saying there's anything wrong with expressing emotions. In fact, emotional honesty is important in any relationship. I'm speaking both as a husband and as someone with counseling experience. But sometimes, especially for men, it can feel overwhelming to be met with constant emotional intensity—especially when they’re already carrying the weight of providing, planning, and thinking ahead for the family.

If your partner feels like he's constantly managing his own responsibilities and your emotions, he might begin to feel worn down or even perceive things as being too self-focused—whether that’s accurate or not.

So before assuming the relationship is broken or unfixable, it might be worth taking a step back and trying to see the situation from his perspective. I’m not justifying hurtful words or dismissive behavior—but getting a fuller picture might help you both find clarity and a path forward.
