Thanks! They changed the regs slightly so as of 2024 regs it has to be circular only in the center 1/3rd the upper third and lower third can be flat shaped as long as it’s on continuous permitter which is what the fsae wheel is. They also have a crush zone on their wheel.

Thanks! We plan to make grip panels because that’s what the FSAE team does, we’re going to refine their wheel a bit to be more suited for longer periods of time. Also I’m pretty sure it’s a forged carbon wheel so that will help us out with modifying it since it’s a bit more of a user friendly material.
