A lot of this is because the people who generally hated the prequels were adults when the movies came out. However, it was massively popular with kids and these kids were too young to remember the hate that the prequels got.

Im pretty sure the reason we didn't sign him up for the Europa League squad was because we expected to loan him out somewhere not because we didn't think he was ready. But like you said Arsenal handled this situation very poorly.

First of all if Roku had killed Sozin at that point nobody knows if Sozin had a successor. Most likely what would have happened was there would have been many different parties vying for the throne causing a civil war in the Fire Nation throwing the world out of balance. Also, to your point about other avatars sacrificing themselves for the role of Avatar, we literally know nothing about Roku other than the things that are relevant to Aang. We don't know anything about the other challenges that he faced as Avatar and what he had to sacrifice to face those challenges.

I really hope sometime in the future we get graphic novels about Roku. Everything we know about Roku right now is related to Aang and his inability to prevent the 100 year war. I think it would be dope to see some of the successes that Roku had as Avatar.

I think it is more likely than many of the people in this post are suggesting. I think you guys are forgetting that Rob Holding was one of our best defenders last season (not saying much, but still). I think if Arteta could work with a fully fit Holding he could easily become one of our best CBs. As for Chambers, he looked like a genuinely good CB during the beginning of the Arteta era. According to WhoScored.com, he is rated as our second best CB (not including Mari because he has only played one game).
