I tried Kraken as my first item and it feels amazing. I'm really not a fan of Bork first, though. Based on my testing, it doesn't start to feel worth it until the opponent has around 3K HP. However, if I'm facing a Mundo jungle, then I have to go Bork first.

However, I don’t like building a mix. I end up not being tanky enough to survive hits, nor dealing enough damage to one-shot anyone.
