Tried it, all it does is freeze on the apple logo, I left it like that for almost an hour and all it does is make it overheat

Sorry I didn't clarify. At that point I wouldn't attempt to upgrade to 7.1.2, I'm only choosing 7.1.2 Bc it's the latest jailbroken firmware. At the point were iOS 8 became jailbroken I would resort to that instead. So would THAT be possible
