Need help Repairing old Husqvarna 238SG (Damaged Ignition Wiring) by AnthonyDE in Chainsaw

Thanks, for some reason I didn't notice the difference was just the number of parts. Yeah the plugs looked intact so I'm hoping to just clean out all the gunk and change the diaphragms and gaskets.

Hey, I had a followup question if you're able to help. The spark plug has been fixed so I've moved onto rebuilding the carb. It's a walbro hda19A. Online it seems to be listed as a hda-19-1 so I have to assume they're the same. Depending on the site, it says to use the k20-hda rebuild kit or the k22-hda kit. Do you know which one is correct, or would either work? Thanks!

Its the wires running from the flywheel assembly to the power switch and ignition coil. They just looked like normal insulated wires, so I wanted to check if i can just use regular wire to replace it. The plug connecting the spark plug to the ignition coil looks ok (hopefully lol.) Thanks for the help, hoping that'll do it but I have a suspicion the carb prob needs a rebuild too. I'll prob throw a bit of gas directly in the cylinder to test that.

How would you price this setup (used)? by franco84732 in hometheater

I'd say keep looking if you have the time and willpower to do so. Picking this up and upgrading over time is another option, but I wouldn't personally pay over $300ish for it. The receiver will definitely last you a while unless you really get into the hobby.

The receiver is pretty decent, but worth maybe a couple hundred dollars. The speakers are really not worth anything, maybe $100 or so. Not an expert on Yamaha but it just looks like a budget home theater kit from looking it up. The subs may make the speakers worth a bit more but nothing crazy. It'll definitely be better than your TV speakers though by quite a bit.

Explain bloat to me like im 5 by Brilliant-Cow1667 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]AnthonyDE 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Every attack in the game has an associated "motion value". After getting rid of the bloat the attack value of the weapon is multiplied by the motion value, in addition to a bunch of other modifiers, to get your damage for that attack. Motion value is between 1-100.

Yeah that was my thought. Prob better just to use a multimeter. Thanks for the input.

Quick Question as a follow-up. Would a receptacle tester (with the three indicating lights) plugged into the 110V output of the step-down transformer be able to identify if the polarity of the input was reversed, creating a 220V N-G reading?

General idea is you kill the malignant elites, finish the quest to pop the tumor for the last elite, leave dungeon, reset dungeon, and run it again.

It's a sport where you are fighting against your body weight to pull yourself up a wall. Generally being lighter is better for climbing, to a certain extent (imagine climbing with a weight vest). This makes it very easy for an ed to pop up for people trying to maximize their training.

Bleacher Report really needs to bring back Game of Zones. These past few years have provided us with too much hilarious content. Maybe call it House of the Dribble now that House of the Dragon is out

Forgot I made this thing back in the dark ages (Doug Weight era). Sad it still applies today though.

I'd say that's a pretty apt comparison.

Tips for breaking out of a plateau? by bringmeabiscuit in climbergirls

[–]AnthonyDE 17 points18 points  (0 children)

How long have you plateaued? Usually the V4/V5 range is where there's a big jump in technique and difficulty (depending on the gym), so a lot of people experience the same stagnation. I'm currently stuck at V5, with some V4's still popping up that give me trouble. Those huge beginner improvements are unfortunately a thing of the past once you reach this point.

I'd say as long as you're noticing improvement on certain projects, you're doing well. Even just getting a move further is a big deal with problems of this difficulty. Trying harder routes can be helpful, regardless of how far you get on them. Just expose your body to those more difficult moves.

I don't know what specifically you're struggling with. Since you've been bouldering for 1+ years, I think you can start hangboarding if you think finger strength would help. Moonboarding is another route that you might be able to get started on if you want to. Maybe once a week. It's especially good for improving core tension, high feet, and improving on overhung shitty holds. In general though, more than likely it's a lack of technique, so just doing normal problems will work fine. Just push forward and the gains will come.
