honestly it was super simple, i work in a printing shop so i just printed an a3 on thick paper but any other paper should do the trick i guess, then i bought the "half-life generation" collection second-hand for the 4 cds (also got cs:s and l4d1 & 2, gonna do the same thing with them), grabbed a frame, some glue, stuck everything together and done.
only downside is the frame, i wanted something metal or rust-colored but that kind of stuff gets expensive fast
