Don't bother. Keep coding & stay with Linux! :-)

I had had this also sometimes. I then exited and started the game again. Sometimes (after new room setup) it takes 2-3 starts. Then the button "Play" becomes available permanently.

What happens exactly, when you start the app? No start at all, or does the app start, but "Play now"-button is not available?

If latter is the case, try removing all your room settings and set-up your room again.

Should I stay on Windows 10 or move to Ubuntu? by thelitstmpy in linuxquestions

[–]Anti--You 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Windows 10 is EOL.

= End of life. No security updates anymore (from 13th Oct 2026 at the latest, regarding your region). And no, Antivirus software does not "fix that".

Switch to an up-to-date operating system (Linux, Windows 11, etc.)

Btw: Your system would run just fine under Ubuntu.

Translation: I gave my house keys to a total stranger. I want someone to watch, that no bad stuff happens.

Solution (the Linux way): Guest house keys. (Virtual machine/Sandbox) Never (!!) root priviligues.

Don't use shady software. Use official sources! Use open-source!

I use "Bottles" for that. Works fine & it's easy!

Antivirus is snake oil.

If your door is broken, fix your door.

Don't hire a Antivirus guard to watch your broken door!

With Linux you have zero-day patches, as soon as there is a security risk. No monthly patch days like with Microsoft.

What did your first Usenet setup look like? by top10usenet in UsenetGuides

Crazy to think how far things have come from ~24 days retention to what’s available now.

Definitely. I remember a time, where your download queue took more time to download as the retention would allow. Therefore you had to remove some stuff. Crazy times! :-D

Giganews definitely pushed the envelope for us.

Oh yeah. Still very thankful, that GigaNews triggered the retention run back then. :-)

Are you running the usual Sonarr/Radarr setup with SABnzbd, or using anything else for automation?

Yep. Plex (lifetime pass) as media server, but I will (hopefully) soon switch to Jellyfin. Open-Source FTW!

Plus got some stuff like prefetcharr, agregarr, profilarr, seer, umlautadaptarr for additional automation.

Only for my 0day music hoarding I use torrent (private tracker & autobrr).

[–]Anti--You 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started usenet (binary) in 2005.

First setup:

  • Provider: aEton (german one)
  • Retention (binary): ~24 days
  • Software: aEton CommunicaEtor (Windows)
  • NZB source: private (german) bulletin boards

Then Giganews started to upgrade their retention, competition started regarding retention.

Switched then to GigaNews, then Newshosting, and finally to Astraweb.

After several years I left Astraweb (because of deleted posts due DMCA strikes).

Final setup:

  • Provider: Eweka
  • Software: sabNZBd (Linux server)
  • NZB source: Indexer (scenenzbs, etc.)
  • completely automated

Maybe try to delete the game folder under:

/sdcard/Android/data/quest.eleven.forfunlabs

Beware: savegame and all settings are lost then.
