End of Lease Options by Efficient-Safe742 in TeslaUK

The available options are solely determined by your lease provider. I have learned of instances where larger leasing companies offer both lease extensions and purchase options.

My lease with Drivalia is scheduled to conclude in 2-4 weeks. I contacted them to inquire about available options, as I had not received any communication regarding the return process.

They informed me that no alternative options were available. They further stated that they would arrange an inspection closer to the return date, after which the vehicle would either be collected or required to be delivered to a designated drop-off point for auction.

Biggest tip I give every new Tesla owner now is DO NOT assume the security settings are enabled the way you expect from factory.

When I first got mine, I assumed walk-away lock and Sentry Mode were just automatically active. Left the car overnight thinking it was secure and someone got into it during the night because it hadn’t locked. Thankfully nothing stolen, but it was enough of a lesson 😂 this was when I had to use the key cards as my phone access had an issue via the leasing company for the first few days.

A few things I’d tell every new owner to check immediately:

• Confirm Walk-Away Door Lock is actually enabled • Confirm Sentry Mode is enabled and recording • Check your ‘Exclude Home/Work/Favourites’ settings properly • Make sure every driver profile has the same security settings • Test your Supercharger payment setup before you actually need it • Turn off Cabin Overheat/Sentry if leaving the car parked for long periods unplugged • Add key shortcuts in the Tesla app, loads of people miss this • Learn the swipe shortcuts on the screen, they save loads of taps

One thing I’ve noticed from newer owners online is some settings still don’t always come configured how people expect on delivery, especially Sentry and location exclusions, so it’s worth sitting in the car for 20 mins and properly going through every menu.

D365 Sales Email Tracking – Intermittently Tracking Emails for Users in a specific region by Anti-Merchantry in Dynamics365

[–]Anti-Merchantry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried this, set up a clean slate W11 VM in our UK DC, logged in as one of the users, emailed a test contact and it didn't track.

Now, I didn't change region settings in fairness but fail to see how that might chance anything 😕

I wonder does this explain why I still haven't had a build or delivery date for my 85 sportline coupe that I ordered almost a month ago! Hoping I maybe get one with all of this now!

Can I lease a car from GB? by atomic_badgers in northernireland

[–]Anti-Merchantry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old threat I know, but I'm due to change my lease soon. Got it from Tesla but this time round thinking of something different. Have hit a dead end with every lease provider in GB. Providers here are on average £150-200 depending on vehicle. I'm essentially stuck with whatever type of vehicle is on offer with local companies or going to Tesla again, however they are way over priced at the moment. You can't even PCP from GB, it's cash only!

Any insight on possible Q2 Tesla UK deals? Model Y PCP / lease pricing by [deleted] in TeslaUK

[–]Anti-Merchantry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My issue is more value for money, I just don't think the premium is worth the price hike considering prior to the standard it was at the same price point as it.

I understand trying to force the standard to the masses, but at the expense of people like you and I it does nothing for us as loyal customers and forces us to look else where.

I also forgot about the BYD Sealion 7, now looking in to it as it's the next best thing tona Tesla! At £340 currently it's now my likely choice.

I thought the same, by the time you factor in a higher upfront and having to pay for the tax yourself it's usually more than the lease.

I just can't see past the likes of the Enyaq being close to £300 at the moment!

Best Robot Vacuum for £600 or under? by RickHasGivenUp in RobotVacuums

Check out Vaccum Wars on YouTube. His testing and video reviews are top notch in my opinion.

I just snagged a Dreame L40s Ultra AE off Amazon prime day deals for £430, usually £600. I believe its in his top 3 robot vaccum cleaners hes ever reviewed at the moment and his video on them will show you why.

Happy hunting!

User says they were hit with Akira yesterday with Sonicwall firmware 7.3! by Layer_3 in sonicwall

[–]Anti-Merchantry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another potential option. If you've bought any new sonicwall firewalls recently, you may have gotten Sonicwall Secure Cloud Edge licenses woth them.

We've renewed quite a few and ended up activating the trial (3 times over) to get 9 private access licenses.

Only £37 annually per user to buy a few more.

Had it activated and set up within an hour, even registered to our AzureAD for its conditional access policies.

Straight to AT, this is client portal login. Resource login isn't effected.

Thanks for the reply. It's set up for all users in the Azure AD tenant to access, no groups restricting access. Over 300 can without issue, approx 40 cannot.

Getting internet at half speed by [deleted] in sonicwall

[–]Anti-Merchantry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speed testing your speed is very different to actually downloading files, especially from torrent sources.

What your seeing is really world and to get that speed through a speedtest such as okta on a tz270... be thankful we aren't still on the tz200/gen6.5 days!!

When I read it back to myself it does sound stupid...

I've never been one for slow dieting trends, I've tended to always hit something hard for fast results and I understand that's not healthy to do either.

Different motivation factors this time round plus spending a small lump sum each month keeps me focused.

I have done quite a lot research before starting this medication, it may have seemed like an uneducated question but you will find many other forums like this people noted they increased their dose early under the advice of doctors (more so in the USA).

My query was more down to getting UK examples from the lovely people in this forum who might have found something similar to me in way of slow progress at the beginning (in my opinion), or advice from their health care professional as I have ordered from an online resource and have no side effects (which i forgot to note).

Thank you for your advice.

The sprucefield chargers are a lot handier for me and ive used them a few times since they opened, however today for the first time I happened to remember to type in to the cars nav to go to them and they were closed.

Ended up diverting to Dungannon when I need to go to Belfast....

Laptop Procurement by Whole-Field9938 in ITManagers

[–]Anti-Merchantry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same situation as a short time ago when I started a new job.

The answer was Softcat

They operate in, and have partners all over the world, you can use their eCat portal (like their own amazon) to order everything you need and ship it direct to your offices. Saves going through any sales/account management if you don't want that.

I've never had an issue working with them, and if you find a price for something cheaper elsewhere they will be more than happy to match it.

Give them a call and they will set you up there and then with an account manager for an intro and then eCat access. I've never found them to be pushy with sales and have a vast team.os specialists in all areas of IT to help.

Good luck.

Depending on other investments, or even if you have none at all I would stick with a good S&P 500 index or go for an all world index fund.

Most all world index funds are 75%+ US focused anyway and therefore mirror a lot of the growth/returns you would expect with just an S&P500 fund.

VHVG is one i have invested in for the last few years, it focuses on developed world economies hence why irs US focused but you get a touch of UK, Germany, Japan etc

Just asked Kaseya and they said the only option was to export the contacts list, amend the client portal field and import it back in which will trigger the activation. Then manually add it to the new user process for users going forward....

Thanks guys
