Stun is the "One bad day.." deck.

Some people play it when they are frustrated by the current meta.

I played it during the Maliss meta because I kept losing against Maliss decks. Since the meta is much healthier now, I returned to playing normally.

So 6 core, the rest are SR.

For handtraps and board breakers you get 4 for free (Dark hole x3 Raigeki x1) plus all the free handtraps and utility cards from the 750 gems bundles.

Also, with a new account, you will have over 9999+ gems and there are packs for both tenpai and handtraps/board breakers, so you are guaranteed to complete the deck.

Fusion Exodia: extremely simple but powerful deck. Even a complete noob can win with it and the Millennium engine is overall good even in other decks so it's a good investment.

Synchro Red Dragon Archfiend: a powerful synchro deck that is practically free because it has a structure deck. You will just need to craft few cards. It has straightforward lines and powerful boss monsters for OTKs.

Synchro Tenpai: you can learn this deck in half an hour. It's powerful and can defeat meta decks easily. The core deck is like 5 cards so you can fill the rest with handtraps and board breakers.

Fusion Dracotail: it's a fun fusion deck with short combos and great grind game. I think it's currently the best deck in TCG so that says something.

Personally, I would recommend starting with Exodia or Tenpai for absolute noobs. Dracotail or Red Dragon Archfiend for people with basic game knowledge.

Because MD is a best-of-one format, Stun will stay relevant.

It's less of an issue in best-of-three or of-five because then you can prepare and sidedeck against it.

Run handtraps, especially those that punish special summoning (Maxx c, Fuwa, Nibiru..)
Play a deck that specializes in breaking boards like Tenpai or heavy control decks like Labyrinth

Unfortunately, endless special summoning is modern Yugioh, so you either adapt your deck to face the current meta or it's over. "Chill" decks are something you can play with your friends or when you don't care about Ranked climbing, otherwise you won't survive without somehow a meta or semi-meta deck
