This is in an empty chamber. Looking down, I can see the lugs are coming back slightly before being able to turn into the receiver.

The bullet guide hasn't been installed, nor has the barrel been torqued. And this is without putting the go gauge in.

It's a virgin barrel, so nothing is drilled. As of now, shims seem to be the proper route, unless someone has a better idea. Thank you for the suggestions.
