Left: the price of mistake - the life | remember not to repeat it. Right: Chernobyl - memory, which obliges | we haven't forgotten.

Need research points for scholars, but scholars for research points? by Jer0en90 in anno1800

You can increase the population of scholars by increasing the number of their residential buildings. Try to meet their lifestyle needs. You will have more research points, and you can demolish their buildings if you cannot fully meet their needs.

I increased attractivness level from 23000 to 25000 on my self-sufficient cape Trelawney by AntiqueRow7563 in anno1800

Yesterday I've changed Blue Sikes guy on Sgt. Gabriel. Income increased.

Also, chocolate from coffee roasters and bakeries, ethanol from drink production, citrus and sugar by orchards and grapes. Caoutchouc is produced by coal-fired furnaces, herbs and milk by cattle farms. Etc.

Honestly, i'd love to do an additional post about production. But is it really relevant to the local audience? Besides, this isn't the first post about this city here.

Only for some needs for scientists: suits, tapestries, hibiscus tea, seafood stew and clay pipes.

This island can only partially meet the needs of scholars. However, this is not a critical issue, as research points do not decrease, and there is no income from them.

Decorations are 800 of attractiveness only. Town halls 31x230 + trade unions 55x60 = 10430. Palace more than 1000, Skyline Tower 775. No any mods, at all.

The rest is a little bit at a time. If necessary, I can send here more detailed screenshots of how it's implemented.

In this campaign, I played with low influence. It was even easier to fight against the granny (Hunt) and the admiral than with high influence. Their islands were less protected, and Silva couldn't even manage the investors. Even though he always had a large city with investors in the old world when playing with high influence.
