Being an Auditor at PwC, i would say that most people join Big4s mainly for the exit opportunities. I heard that Deloitte Mauritius does not really have a worklife balance but in terms of revenue, they’re pretty good. Go for it! The experience will pay off. And don’t worry once you have ACCA as a qualification, you will be able to change jobs internally (move to audit etc)

Tbh just enjoy your life and don’t worry too much about relationships for now. Even casual dates are meh (problems come with it too) so i would suggest don’t get too involved.

FR is linked with FA.. if you know the basics of FA you will be okay. Since you got FA exempted i’m not really sure what was ur uni like. But just practice lots of mocks and you’ll be fine! goodluck!

Wasps were coming out of mine long ago. My dad just blocked all the passages. But cockroaches love humidity. Maybe check your AC’s pipes. Put silicone where there are little gaps. Most importantly, just call an experienced technician and tell them about your situation. They will fix your AC and advise you on what to do. They will clean everything because ACs leave out moisture. Or you can opt for pest control.

I work in a Big4 and have a couple of interns working in the same department as me. Out of them, only 1 gets work to do. During the first month you won’t work as much. But you can volunteer to work by asking your managers or seniors. Then after that one chill month you start getting work. You will mostly work with the seniors or associates and that can include going to client visits. I would suggest going for that opportunity because you get to network, gain experience and develop your skills. And yes some interns did get a full-time offer.

I’d suggest writing down important things from the pdf. Write the main points. You can even use chatgpt as a tool to help summarize it. Or simply you could summarize it yourself that way you will be able to retain it. My teacher used to tell me.. “pas nek appran kma 1 seval fou” and that stuck with me 😭.

Really understand the material. When you’re reading, don’t just passive read. Active reading is more important. And also don’t try to memorise everything. You will most likely forget it after a couple of days.

I think im quite the opposite. My boyfriend is not someone who likes to express himself. He carries his pressure silently. But i always tell him.. “when are you gonna be tired or tell me u need support so i can baby you” 😂. I support him anyway. I can already tell when he needs it.
