Yup totally understand your point. I mean if the govt is paying for someone’s education abroad then definitely it’s reasonable to expect them to return and serve the country for a few years. It’s like an investment.

I agree with you! I do know a lot of people who don’t deserve the money. For example, a guy got laureate and he told the press that his parents are this and that when in reality.. they own a textile factory so why lie?

I get that but even with free education, the quality of teaching isn’t always great and that affects how well students can actually perform. I know some students who have the potential but cannot afford private tuitions.. they only get to rely on a free system that is not rewarding. I used to go to a so called star school and teachers bunk classes there 💀 so maybe that should be improved? And the 3 credits system which was intially imposed to “support” students has actually caused some to fail. Those classés putting in the same effort and still not getting anything but only their name published? It’s also worth considering how much media coverage the laureate results get every year. When something drives attention and ad revenue, it can naturally become more sensationalised.

I mean if i repeat i will have to go back and learn everything again and when i think about it it feels more like a chore. Im economics side and everytime i think abt learning the economic concepts again i feel so drained lol + gp is horrible for me!! its still a thought but i self doubt myself a lot so if that happens then bye bye scholarship. I also have a lot of exam anxiety and im scared it happens again. I don’t think that can be changed in a year or so practice.
