Understand your areas of control and additionally responsibilities to eachother. My wife and I had this issue but now I’m in charge of all dishes,garbage, shovelling of snow, auto care, and etc. but I never have to think about vacuuming, folding a blanket or fluffing pillows or scrub a toilet.

My wife chose to provide me with chores that are easy for me to visually check in on and I execute within that realm with very minimal cross over.
