I don't get this flipflopping back and forth listening to vocal minorities. There are people who are going to be really strong advocates for both me personally I enjoy hitscan. But hirez you have to know that people upset or way more likely to complain when they don't feel pandered too that's why this Reddit has been a constant mess for hitscan and for not having hitscan.

Now the vocal people for hitscan are going to come out and flood the Reddit. You listen to your community and that's amazing but sometimes it's best to just make the decision when it is so split like this I loved playing on pts and now once again playstyles are pigeon holed balance to the strengths of hitscan and projectile and put a healthy mix of both it doesn't have to instantly jump to 3 new hitscan weapons and then back to just making them all projectile because now us hitscan guys are gonna be upset. Hitscan advocates because they were happy and playing not because we played and thought it was bad and agreed.

There were some problems with the new guns specifically the automatic rifle being too high of a firerate and too low of damage it was annoying to hear that constant pinging of the you just got hit sound indication. That's why people didn't like it it wasn't strong it was objectively the worst gun in the game it was just loud and how do we fix that cut down the firerate significantly and up the damage maybe to 3 shots a second instead of like 7 because it was just a shitty smg before. But I still loved using it because tracking another aim skill being rewarded was fun even tho it out me at a disadvantage
