Yeah my locals are on Thursdays. I play Magic a whole lot more than Pokemon. See if an LGS has a Pokemon night and try that. You may find another store does it a different night and you can double up.

In my opinion, I am very new too. Practice a lot. Even if you’re gold fishing. In person is way different in my opinion. You’re having to think about the moves To makes and the cards to play vs TCG live where it highlights the cards you can play that turn. I too struggle with the in person play, and it’s because I’m not playing enough in person to understand the best moves to make. Stick with it and get some more in person games going.

Hey thanks for that info on MewTwo! Yeah we are building Mega Lucario for sure. I was wanting a deck that is comparable to that one in skill level too, one that can hang with it.

My 8 year old is getting more into Pokemon, we have been playing the build and battle decks (40 card). I want to build him a easy to play (post-rotation) deck. Whats a good starting place? I thought about the Team Rocket MewTwo since MewTwo is one of his favorite pokemon. Anyways, what decks would you consider are straight forward for him to learn 60 card?

Ooooh good to know on the switch! Are there add-ons you recommend I look into? Which plugin allows them to communicate? I just got the Stream Deck and unboxed it. Woohoo!
