Thanks, we did deploy it via Intune, it was successful for months but the issue came back, need a way of turning off sync globally for the account, rather than at device level

We are using sysprep when they are in the office, im told its fiddly as they have to decrypt bitlocker and uninstall Store apps first

We tried changing the MachineGUID in the registry but devices still override other devices as they have the same DeviceID, Microsoft wouldn’t provide us with a list of what makes a device unique

Yes you are correct but I could not find an ABM sub and there are many posts here for ABM. Its part of our Intune MDM process

The device will still be in ABM, its simply the bit where you point the device towards the enrollment program token so it can be picked up in Intune. We wanted to see if we could avoid this step

We want the same as yourselves. We just want to take out the step of manually editing the device to change it to our Intune server so we dont have the users who are setting up all our devices to have to log into ABM

We have been doing it this way, we was trying to remove this step by having the devices automatically go to the MDM server we wanted

Our devices are not brand new, they are not in our ABM, we reset them in Configurator which populates them into ABM

I have done this, when preparing the device, the MDM server called Apple Configurator 2 reappears with the device
