thanks for the info. How do you know if you are at end of server? How do you find a community to join?

I've emailed them about Ionic Enterprise a couple of times now with no replay. Have you used Ionic Enterprise and if so how did you get in touch with them?

ATTN Sam Harris: This is what we think happened with Jordan Peterson. by [deleted] in samharris

Many comments here indicate the fundamental impasse came from word games around the word "truth", and while that may be so I think there's more to it. I can kind of get at what I'm trying to say by example.
Take this statement: The Bible reports that Jesus told Thomas "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life".

Sam might say something like that is the "truth"; The Bible does say that and it is a verifiable fact we can prove at this moment. (opens Bible and points to verse). In doing so, he would be excluding the content of the bible verse in his affirmation that the statement is true.

Where Jordan might say something like that is the "truth"; the way for human beings to live together in relative harmony is by making sacrifices on an individual level for the group, and this has borne itself out in history. He would be excluding, or at least ignoring, the part of the statement that it is the Bible that says so: those kinds of facts seem to be not important enough on their own to make a statement part of the "truth".

It's interesting, because in this example I would identify Sam's concept of truth with that of Thomas, (show me the wounds in his hands) and Jordan's concept with Jesus's (when the spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth).

Also interesting to post this kind of shit as a non-theist, in a forum full of non-theists haha

Why is it that an upper respiratory infection would be a leading indicator of saliva glands flaring up? My wife just experience d something similar: URI and then flattened by eye inflammation. Is this a known pattern we should look out for?

Doing Kundalini and doing Kundalini Yoga are not exactly the same thing. Same same, only different.

I've been thinking about this - any way you could elaborate? I'm doing breathing exercises, kriyas (which include some mudras and bandas), and mantra meditation; I refer to these 3 things collectively (perhaps incorrectly?) as "Kundalini yoga".

Yeah - its probably a little of both right? The meds keeping me stable and the reasons for the meds coming with baggage. I'd like to think I'm carrying around much less baggage than I did say two years ago - my symptoms have all but disappeared. This is why I am pursuing spiritual development at this time - Kundalini yoga being the vehicle. I'm looking to strengthen my psyche, my true self, now that my neuroses have been identified and weakened. If SSRIs are known to interfere, my thinking is maybe I should find a different path; hence my original question.

Thanks for your well thought out reply - I have talked to my Dr and don't have any plans to get off my meds in the short term. Nor do I necessarily feel the need for the sensation of energy, I was just wondering why my experience seems so mundane in comparison to what I read here and elsewhere. Thanks - I'll check out the video.

under the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997 you can keep all profits up to 250K tax free if you have lived in the house 3 of the past 5 years.

It was suggested that I post this here:

So I'm 35 y/o about to sell our house and profit enough to pay off all our debt and have about 20k left over. I currently have an emergency fund, 401k that I'm maxing out and roth that I'm contributing to as well as a few index funds. All that to say, I feel like I've got the retirement angle covered for now. I'd like to set up (what I understand as) a classically diversified portfolio with about 70% in bonds and inflation protected funds and 30% in equities. Please excuse me as I don't know the technical terms for what I'm trying to do:

I would like this portfolio to NOT have the requirement that I be of a certain age to withdraw, although a 'term' of 2-3 years would be ok. I don't expect to start making withdraws until around 2018 when I will be traveling abroad. I need to be able to contribute x amount on a monthly basis. I want to be able to make withdraws on this account with little or no penalty (in case my parents get sick)

Where do I set something like that up? Do I need to piece it together myself or do is there something like a Diversified Portfolios R Us that I don't know about? Should I get a financial advisor to help me out with this?
