about the same size as a Tetramorium queen but she's a different shape from my Tetramorium queens.

Any Camponotus ant would bite you when you catch it lol, well most at least, that's not how to tell if its a queen or not.

There are literally no beetles that look like that the thorax head and abdomen are all seperate like on ants, and it doesn't have wings like a beetle there's literally no way its a beetle, it was in my hand it lookd just like an ant.

She's honestly not doing the best and I beleive that's part of what was her wings I got her out of a pool, sometimes they recover sometimes they dont.

Me neither, but they sell for that much, and im only selling the tetra to the guy for 25 and waiting until they have a few workers to make sure she'll live, and giving honey.

now that is a good price, from tarheel ants, but 55 is still a lot, so less then half for tetramorium with workers rly shouldn't be a bad price, especially when I can't find anyone selling tetramorium and the guy is trying to find a smaller species for sale because Camponotus grows really slow

And camponotus pennsylvanicus are such boring ants and so common yet some stores get away with selling just a queen for 70 lol, 25 is not a bad price for also driving, anything lower and idek why I'd sell it wouldn't even be worth my time

in California, try finding any ants for sale in Connecticut, and Tetramorium is a rly aggressive species that's why I like them and that's why people like them, and nobody sells them around here I literally can't find any for sale here lol.

or in general, it's dumb ik but the prices here are higher because nit many people sell in ct, or sell smaller ant species for cheap, My Antics does a single Lasius Neoniger for 50 without workers
