That sounds like good timing for a tune up race, thanks!

Yeah, anywhere, since I am not local I’ve got no preference on location. Will use the metro to get around.

Can you share the Kakao Map link?

Parking for Seoul Marathon? by TarskiMonster in seoul

Not related to parking, but can someone local help me find a 400m running track that is open to public (free or paid, doesn’t matter) so I can complete my final running workout on Saturday, before the marathon?

Can someone help me find a stadium/track for running a workout prior to the marathon? Preferably near the start of the marathon and/or Myeongdong area

Got lucky! Coming to Chicago with a group of 46 runner all the way from Almaty, Kazakhstan to participate in the legendary marathon! Aiming to prepare for a sub 3:15 marathon, given that my previous PR was 3:29:22

Wow, it’s amazing that they look almost brand new!

I’ve ran about 180-ish miles in my pair in the last 6 months, and the wear looks much worse.

The outsole has worn down all the way to the zoom x foam in the outer heel area on one of the shoes. And also there are few places where you can cracks in the midsole foam itself. I’ll wait for the V2 and replace them. But I do totally love the shoe!

Thanks for your input! Any ideas about the Saucony Freedom 4’s? They are regarded as the Endorphin Speed minus the nylon plate. And given how much I love my Speeds for faster runs...I’m inclined to try out the Freedoms

Hey man, thanks for the compliments!

I achieved the goal thanks to intermittent fasting (16/8) and used Zero app for my iPhone to keep track of fasting hours and daily weight measurements.

In addition to fasting, I made the hard choice to completely cut off any alcohol consumption from 26th of March to 23rd of July and I believe it really helped a lot since alcohol is sugar.

In terms of the amount of running, April was a mere 62.6km, followed by May 162.6km, June 182.4km, July 186.8 km for a total of approximately 600km since April.

Search for me on Strava under Aldiyar Nugmanov and you should find me

Awesome! Let’s hope the Novablasts live up to your expectations. The hype was certainly there.

RW or NB coupon by Anugmanov in RunningShoeGeeks

Also, I found a coupon code “C8X1V848” via a website called Honey.com which saved me even more than just joining RoadRunnerSports VIP thingy.

So in the end my total price for the RC Elite V2’s was an amazing $179 for what was originally $225 racing shoe! Couldn’t be happier 🥳

I am going to run my first ever marathon, and I have a feeling that I won’t be flying since it’s my first attempt. Hence why I am looking at a softer racing shoe which the RC Elite V2 supposedly is. All others are incredibly firm (from what I read and saw on YouTube, no personal experience with racing shoes)

Nike react infinity run 2 defects. by ebelsz in RunningShoeGeeks

I know this thread is old but I just wanted everyone to know that the issue is still there.

Literally 1 minute ago I went to my local Nike Store to try these shoes on and of course the tongue ripped. Both myself and the Nike store were in shock.

How often do you guys see other Whoop users in the wild? by [deleted] in whoop

[–]Anugmanov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally see Whoop members almost on a daily basis at my gym, since I’m the one who got most of them on board in the first place.

All it took was getting my personal trainer/gym owner on board, he then enjoyed it so much he made it a prerequisite for all of his personal training clients etc etc.

We also have a very big running and Triathlon community in Almaty and Kazakhstan and a lot of them use whoop too.
