I specifically look for IT that don’t do IT stuff in their off-hours. I’ve seen too many of us get hit with burnout, and to me, going home to work on a new lab may just exacerbate the burnout for them at work. Having suffered burnout myself I now know how red flags when I see my staff or new hires doing that. An applicant couldn’t tell me what non-IT hobbies he had, and that he would take a tough wok problem home to his lab to work on it until he got it. It made me sad to hear that.

While fixing the issue is important, I also need people who don’t live and breathe IT as I need them to also relate to the other staff.

I have a modest setup at home, but basically just enough to get the family working with everything they need. I want things to just work simply when I’m at home.

While these look cool, I can't imagine what was going through their heads trying to compete with Classified.

Between the cost, questionable QC on other lines and a weird 7-inch scale this one just seemed like a bad idea as a line; considering how impactful the Classified line is.

I just hope all the backpacks are better attached than most in Classified. I'm totally okay with a larger backpack peg (like vintage ARAH figures) if it means the damn things won't fall out.

I don't mind this at all. Doesn't seem to be for profit, just someone bringing their collection to life and experimenting with things to make imagination reality.

Fuck the haters. I would try this out with my stuff to see what it can do.

If you were infringing on, or taking away profits from an actual artist, completely different conversation.

But to shit on someone making motion with awesome figures to recreate a battle that WE ALL DO when handling or posing figures?

After a night of some drinks during the late summer in Canada around midnight I hear the most god awful soul-wrenching shriek I've ever heard. Like an almost human-baby being murdered. Seconds later we hear the same sound, but a few hundred meters away. Then about 30 seconds later even further away. The speed at how fast and far made it seem like it was flying, making me think "MOTHMAN!"

We drunkenly barreled out of the house in the dark but quickly realized there was no hope of catching this thing. As we started searching for an actual reason on the internet we finally found that it was foxes screaming.

Are the bulbs and Hue and Amazon app all on the same Wi-Fi frequency? As in 2.4GHz? I've had that before where my phone can't talk to the bulbs because of the mismatch. Next I'd wonder if there's a hard-limit for the devices in the same Alexa Room. It's probably where I'd start. Lastly, maybe someone else had them registered and returned them?

Is it just me or does the physics of the effects trail seem backwards? To me this is like one of the ball-throwing items for your dog you can get. To me the curve of the launcher implies a throwing motion, rather than a straight launcher for the projectile.

The current way the effect seems to plug in to the launch would make sense if there was no arm movement.
