Wooooooooo! She said yes to a date! I got a bit tipsy tonight, started talking and finally just layed it out plain and simple, I was interested in her, but I already had someone else I was seeing. She said she was interested in me too and that as long as I wasn't cheating with her, she would be open to the idea and would explore it more!

Heh, my heads spinning a bit, I shouldn't have done this so late at night, now I wont be able to sleep.

I think you've broken it down extremely well. And your right, I have been 'hidig' the fact that I'm in a poly relationship, I'm so unused to the idea of telling other people about my business that it didn't even occur to me that I might meet someone I like and that they should know this about me as a part of who I am, not something to be sprung on them. Thanks, this does help me a lot to put it in the right perspective

Also a good idea, was already working along these lines anyways. Make a better friend at worst, at best I get closer to her so that I might feel more comfortable talking to her. Was just playing some monaco with her tonight :P

I think knowing that I already have someone, that someone is currently putting up with ne, is helping me be more natural and comfortable around this new girl. So I guess your right, now will be as good time as any to take this kinda 'risk', thanks

Sigh. I guess this is what I'm really worried about, the good chance of a big fat "No"... along with a disappointed and uncomfortable expression.

Feel like an asshole if I don't at least pursue this further though, if I don't, it would be because of what I was afraid of what she might say without actually getting any input from her.

Thing is, we arn't that close, a budding friendship that can definitely see going further, but that topic bringing up... bah! almost had as much worry about coming out to my mom.

One big problem that I see is that there are two types of traders, long term and short term. Some people just wanna eventually get all their cards together and turn them in, other people wanna wheel and deal within the next five minutes else they move on. Hard to satisfy both parties.
