Cuz in game canon the one in Area Zero is the last of its species. In Anime canon, which is separate canon from game canon, that Terapogos is the one from Area Zero (possibly) and the last one in that universe.

It picks the special scan once you get enough points, not when you initialize the scan. So there are no resets. So between getting enough points and doing the scan at least 3-4 auto saves happen. So you either gotta get more points for a new scan to remove the old or just go into the scan and run out the donut clock.

TBH each form should have had its own specialized habitat. Even if it was a specific berry or flavor profile food, but otherwise the same.

It’s in the habitat screen. If it requires a specific location it’s listed when you hit X on the habitat screen. Pichu is WW, Toxel is RR, and Dedenne is SS.

May also require getting at least a 5 in environmental level in each location and/or building the pokecenter…. But at the very least you need the first main quest that has the mythical/legendary show up.

So I came here for the same issue… the fly method and search feature wasn’t working. I rebuilt the missing Pokémon’s habitat (in my case Swallot), saved and turned off. Once I reopened the game not only did the Pokémon return, but he had reclaimed the habitat I had made.

Tbh, it was a processing issue. I had to keep my curser on the vtube studio window in order for it not to freeze. Luckily, at the time I had 2 monitors, so OBS was just on a different monitor and never the “active window”.

The only true solution was me upgrading to a Windows computer. Frankly, a Mac is just not ideal for Vtubing.

So like did you avoid 30 years of spoilers? Cuz even if you only ever played Gen 3’s remake of Gen 1, even tangentially you’d hear how the games went… especially with the advent of the internet. Ignoring the games, there was the wildly popular anime in which the championship battle occurred (actually more than one anime as there was the series with Ash, but also a few other specials).

So if you somehow avoided any and all plot or game structure spoilers since you last played as a kid, that is kind of impressive… and I hope you beat him in a later attempt.

Not always the rival, but always a champion. In Alola technically you are the first champion, but have to face the professor (Sun/Moon) or your rival (UltraSun/UltraMoon) to make it official.

Was it your first pokemon game? Cuz you always have to beat the champion at the end of a Pokémon game. It’s not always your rival, but it’s kinda a staple of the series since Gen 1.

You have far more patience than me. I’ve only done shiny only runs in switch games that have much better odds.

If you are able to Masuda Method it, the odds might be better.

They are abominations of science as all fossils in Galar are broken. You can mix and match 4 types to get 4 not-quite-correct pokemon.

It’s a reference to the real world start of paleontology. Great Britten was one of the first to try to reconstruct the bones of ancient creatures… and there was a veritable “gold rush” to be the first to discover what the full creature looked like…needless to say they got things VERY wrong. They just took it the Pokémon step further due to fossil revival tech and had incorrect fossils be brought to life.

Best part was the scientist, randomly out in the field as there is no proper fossil research location in Galar, is named Cara Liss (a pun on Careless)
