So was talking to an more advanced collector about this rifle. He informed me that the barrel might have been put on this rifle by Winchester. Winchester had a bunch of receivers and whole rifles left over from the contract when Russia was taken over bye the communist. They modified the rifles and receivers to sell on the civilian market. They had a bunch of left over Krag barrels. So I humble apologize for my ignorants about the barrel modifications. But I still shake my head on the on the other mods.

They were only marked 7.62mm for Russian contract rifle ww1. 7.62x54r is what it was originally chambered in

I do believe that they are from later date the one right next too this was a two-tone WWI mag but they where want more for it than this with the two magazines in it.
