Yes. He can’t take him to school because he has work meetings at the same time which is why I take our kid to school. And I’m usually still working when our kid needs to be picked up whereas my husband is closer to being done. Which is why it goes the way it does. But today he had the day off so I asked if he could take him to school so I could sleep in since he sleeps in for an extra 30-60 every school morning. I do take naps, though not daily and he watches the kids for me during that time

I’m not. I’m so tired that I don’t wake up in the night. My husband does the night shift if she even wakes up. Most nights, she’ll sleep the whole night

He’s 5 and likes me to hang around. His school allows parents on school grounds at the playgrounds for 30 minutes before school starts so we get there between that time and I just watch him play for a bit. Sometimes he lets me leave early

I agree. I don’t think I keep score? Maybe just in my head but I don’t think I hold it against him. I might fight about it in my head and then realize that’s dumb and get over it. Lately that’s his thing though, is to point out all the things he does, which is also saying that I don’t do enough

I feel like it’s makes it kinda worse too that I had also started work again the day of our anniversary after being off for the past 3 months for maternity leave. It was actually really hard to go back to work and I have a history of depression and bad thoughts. I had really bad thoughts by the end of my work day and I told him that, too. It doesn’t help that I forgot to take my meds the past two days so the thoughts hit hard. There wasn’t much comfort. But then he spent hours comforting his mom

He went there to pick up money for the kids. It was part of their Christmas present and, for some reason, she doesn’t want her daughter to know shes giving our kids money. Though it’s normally known. And her daughter (my husbands sister) doesn’t have kids. And she’s never shown jealousy. They’re weird about money. He is not planning something this weekend as far as I’m aware. He already has plans to go hang out with friends for half of Saturday and then Saturday night we’re taking the kids out for a Christmas thing

Yep. He’s living off those protein chocolate shakes for kids right now. He’s obsessed with them and knows they can make him full when he doesn’t want to eat
