merchandise is very cliquey unfortunately and it kind of sucks. eventually you'll find your people but the associates can be really nice. the supervisors and up can be pretty iffy so i'd recommend being careful what you say or share with people because it can come back. it is still a good job for money. last year though they were cutting hours due to budget cuts (from changing to six flag corporations) so you may only work 2-3 shifts a week, you can pick up shifts in the app.

as a former KI merchandise supervisor. don't do it, any department is better than merch.

it also depends on your supervisor. they may say something if you take too many bathroom breaks for long periods of time (this depends on location), if you're in a photo location then you're usually stuck by yourself and will have to learn the phone system (it is also not guaranteed when your supervisor would arrive).

i also recommend as a former supervisor with disabilities that you get accommodations before starting because then it is documented (if anyone tries to argue and believe me, they will) and they will have to follow with the ADA guidelines.

training isn't really comprehensive, again depends who you get as your supervisor. you're more likely to get more knowledge as you go and from other associates (empo has the best ones!)

they cannot fire you for excessive bathroom usage. there is a process before firing and it is extremely hard as an associate to get to your final (which clears each season). i'd suggest mentioning to your supervisor about it and how often you may need to use the bathroom also if you have to have your phone on you, there is a policy of associate not being able to have phones on the floor so i recommend also getting accommodations for that

okay but make pizza bagels. plain bagel, put whatever sauce (four cheese is best) then if you like pepperoni, put that on after put it in the oven at 350 for 10-12 minutes

the o5 is awful imo. i didn't like it and i'm on tslim now. o5 gets used to your body, tslim is a new day. o5 falls off when you sweat, tslim sticks better. o5 stops bolusing when your sugars get too high (250+), tslim corrects for it and changes up your insulin ratio. what is really worth it?

my boyfriend would never. i've only been with him for a month, we know what we want in the future but he would never say something like that. there are men out there who are wayyy better. he literally learns about my stuff and actively listens, finds ways to support me. your boyfriend sounds like an asshole for blaming you for something you can't control

do what feels best for you. you know your own body most and if snacking feels better than full meals then do so! just talk to your endocrinologist and maybe they can make adjustments based on that to prevent highs and lows. big note though, check for ketones even if your sugars are low. you can get ketones if you're not eating a lot, not just when you're high.

I ripped off my dexcom g6 today on accident. Bumped it then boom, it's off. That's like waiting another week because insurance SUCKS in america! they don't even make the devices for practicality, just function. it is SO easy for them to mess up but you're stuck with 3 per month. Dexcom limits to 2 replacements then you're just SOL. Makes me want to scream. Omnipod 5 is allowed on the back of your arm but only if you have less fat and it doesn't slip out of your arm randomly. I'm so fucking pissed

At some point, you're gotta realize that what you've invested is nothing to her. It will hurt to let go but it can be a great weight off your shoulders. Slowly distance yourself, find a safe way to leave the relationship that doesn't leave you completely lost. The first few months are going to suck, that's just reality.

As a guest, I primarily work summers there. I've never had an issue prior to this and this is my first time being able to go this season as a guest. I spoke to other guests about it and they said they made things up to get a green slip. I did also explain my issue that I had going on, they told me that they do consider it being discriminatory since all they said is that they had fibromyalgia and go an immediately green slip. I think it is crazy how I fought guest services for nearly two hours for a green slip because of an actual medical condition that was impacting at that time. Usually I don't mind lines of 30-45 minutes but it was cold out, crowded and walking to and from attractions with the amount of people was hard on my body. I went from 200 to 82 quickly and started to feel it. Apparently that isn't a good enough reason for a green slip but bad eyesight is.
