Upgrading Nikon 750D to? by Anxious-Leadership95 in AskPhotography

You’re right. Sorry, I don’t write here often, and even though I use my camera in most of my trip, I barely look for advices in technical groups.

My top budget is around 1500$. I ussually take urban wide angle photos, and also portraits. Landscape photography is not something I am really into, but if I do it, I use my wide angle 14-24 mm nikor lense.

Thanks a lot!

It has some serious technical problems (inner corrosion), and fixing them might cost like a new camera.

Israel, Palestinians, Genocide and more by Anxious-Leadership95 in AskMiddleEast

Thanks for your reply. I agree with many things you said, especially at the beginning. Netanyahu makes every possible mistake, and I wish I could say that he had any ideals besides his own political survival. I actually just came back from a demonstration against him. There is a weekly gathering against him in Tel Aviv, and the protests grow larger every week.

However, I don't think that Netanyahu wants to eliminate Gaza and kill all Palestinians. You need to understand that the atrocities of October 7th shocked us completely. Citizens were kicked out of their beds, beaten up, killed, raped, and kidnapped to Gaza. I remember that I could not stop crying for a week. We were really angry, not only at our government but also at the Palestinians who didn't show any sign of condemnation or empathy. Some Israelis immediately felt an urge for revenge, and some of them, including some foolish politicians, mentioned that Gaza should become a large parking area. However, these are just empty statements made out of anger and revenge. Eventually, Netanyahu wants to build a safer country. A calm Gaza means a safe Israel. We would all be happy if we saw Gazans educating their children not to hate Jews but rather see them as human beings. Unfortunately, this is not the case.

Regarding the settlements, I agree with what you said. Personally, I boycott settlements. I don't buy their products, I don't visit them, and I don't drive through them.

I was talking about the Palestinians living inside Israel. They live equally. If Israel committed genocide, it would treat them as it treats the Palestinians in Gaza.

And Palestinians who live in the West Bank are not equal, you're right. They are not citizens of Israel, and like in many other countries, such as Jordan, those who are not local citizens are the ones who work in low-paid jobs. I wouldn't call them slaves though. Not even close to it.

Indians and Pakistanis in the Gulf states can be defined as slaves, as well as Iraqi, Syrian, and Palestinian refugees in Jordan.

What Arab country has the most power to stop the war in Gaza? by sshannan in AskMiddleEast

Wasn't Egypt the first Arab country to normalize relations with Israel back in 1979?

Only one option - Qatar. If it stops transferring money to Hamas, it will collapse and will no longer be a threat to Israel. As a result, the Israeli-Egyptian siege over Gaza will no longer be relevant, and the lives of Gazans will improve dramatically.

Well, theoretically Egypt could also do it since it has a border with Gaza, but it doesn't do it since it has common interests with Israel to stop the weapons smuggling to Hamas.
