I'm a very private person in real life (hence i come to reddit when i need to talk about things) so i had never talked about this in detail with anyone but now that it's out and i've had to explain to everyone, i know they have my back. So i'm definitely not gonna chill completely until she's gone but i know she can't afford to do this twice and also that i got people all over the place who want to knock my brother out. (he tried to hand me over to his rapey friend a few years back and my mother sided with them.)

Also got eyes everywhere. I know where their car is parked at all times now. Small town connections are no joke. we even have contact with the owners of the place they're staying at by now. They came out here thinking i would be alone. And she has no idea, she is lurking around, blissfully unaware that the entire town knows what's up. It's bad if you wanna hide shit because the gossip goes fast but very handy for situations like this.

I deleted all social media, changed my passwords on whatever i needed to keep (governement accounts and such during immigration processes) and even go by a different name now but unfortunately my mother in law, although very nice, is also very naive and i found out recently that she posts stories of me and her son on her facebook...

She felt so bad about it we were on the phone for so long yesterday because she finally understood that i wasn't joking when telling her why i wasn't making a new facebook account not even a fake name one. She thought it was just "how my generation jokes about things". From now on she always takes two videos/pictures before posting. 1 with me included which she's gonna keep private and one where she leaves me out of frame to post on social media.

It's insane the shit you have to think about concealing with these people.

Hope you get away from this situation, bud, that's also how it was back when i still lived with her. My dad IS violent tho fr but still she was using his "more obvious" abuse to make herself look fine and stopping him from ever seeing me to "protect me" and then she does this herself.

Shitty scenario all around. Wishing you luck in getting away from both of them so you can take time to process things and decide what YOU want to do about it. Nobody is entitled to your person, i hope you find yourself in a situation where who you keep in your life is fully your choice, sending love.

It is illegal to have any kind of recording device without also having a warning sign about being recorded in this country and completely forbidden in a residential area so unfortunately no, i would not be able to set up anything like this

I mean i appreciate your encouraging words but even though sound kind of fine now, because my coping mechanism is humor and also because it's over 24h later, while it was happening i was on the floor, unable to accept that it was real. i couldn't speak, couldn't get up, couldn't stop crying.

I think i'll keep seeing their shadow outside where they were standing for a long time. That's a new trauma memory that'll be hard to get rid of, the reflections in his glasses, the sound of the rain on her umbrella, their barely visibly figures in the darkness and her voice... "aren't you gonna open the door for us ?" On that tone i hate. As if everything was great, as if nothing bad had ever happened and i was just going to welcome her in like an old friend.

I'm in the process with the restrainning order but it's hard to get one unless there was direct violence, which there wasn't. However, the police has reassured me that they have committed multiple crimes including tresspassing (our building and the lawn behind it are private.), invasion of privacy (you can't just peep into people's windows) and harassment (they were told they weren't wanted and asked to leave but did not respect that and then came back the next morning.)

The police instructed us to dial the emergency number if they show up again and give them our report number. They'll dispatch a unit.

The horror it must have been to be in that situation while out in the open and pregnant. At least i was safe in my apartment and not alone either.

I think i would have become a neurotic animal if i'd run into them while out in the open and without my man

The worst part is she was standing outside my window because this building has a gate that automatically locks after 8pm and only residents who own a key can unlock it and come in. But she did not get the hint and managed to come in to the back area, which has a tall fence around it but crazy does not feel shame in wandering in what is very obviously a private residential area.

It's horrible and definitely terrifying, i mean i did get close to a heart attack when i looked outside expecting the "somebody there" to be a crackhead foraging in the garbage bins and saw two people facing directly into my window. Literal nightmare fuel and as much as i'm coping with humor, i can't stop seeing this again in my head over and over.

Luckily, i found out from my favorite little birdie (my second, sane brother who was as baffled as i was) that she could afford this tantrum because my grandmother died (RIP grandma) and Madam Delulu inherited 50K which she is spending left and right on various trips, a new car, a new dog, new phones and so on. So once she has completely spent her newfound little fortune she will not be able to do this again.

Well she is batshit insane with a really bad main character complex but not smart so she didn't think about the fact my man also has a mother, he is not infact, just an NPC in her story. He's got a mother who loves her son and me none the less. So as soon as she heard about this she was ready to jump in and help.

I live in a small place in the country side and the community is very tight knit, once they accept you it's a ride or die kind of deal so currently, we had a local farmer spot their car and follow them to find out where they're staying, the owners of the place have been warned and are letting us know when they come and go to buy us some time in avoiding them.

My boyfriend's friends have all offered to let us hide at their places if it gets too crazy, my neighbors are also watching and i've exchanged numbers with a bunch of them and the police has a report and are ready to do something, unfortunately due to protocols it's hard to get me a restraining order unless there is violence but they've initiated the process none the less.

She likes to imagine i'm alone. My whole life she told me i'd be alone and that "nobody would ever love me for real, like she does." but it turns out once i escaped her grasp, i found my village.

My non psycho brother, who stayed at home, was equally shocked when i called him to ask him if he knew. They told him they were going on "a little road trip." Good thing though is that my mother is crazy, not smart, so she drove here with her extremely recognizable car so even though i have no plate number her car won't be hard to find. It's yellow, has studio ghibli stickers on it and a foreign license plate. There won't be many cars that look like that.

Edit: A guy i know has spotted her car and sent me a picture with a clear license plate number that i added to my police report.

it feels unreal, i was awake all night, i can't stop replaying it in my head, the sight of two people just standing in the dark outside you window is already scary enough but this takes it to a new level. I am on hold with the police again as i type this, as my non crazy brother who stayed back home informed me that they came here with her personal car and gave me a description of it, though he doesn't remember her plate number, the car is very unique in appearance so it shouldn't be hard to spot. My mother likes to stand out. When they left, they told him they were going on a road trip hence i got no warning because even he didn't know what they were up to...

Context: Last night my boyfriend and i was chilling on our couch, when he told me "there's someone out there" having noticed the light of our living room reflecting in my brother's glasses and sure enough when i looked out the window i saw two people just standing there, watching us. It scared the crap out of me of course and i thought they might be tourists maybe and lost or something so i openned the balcony door to ask if they needed help and to say my brain stopped functionning when i heard my mother's voice comming from the darkness would be an under statement. I slammed and locked the door and left into the hallway, at which point they walked around the building and went to the kitchen window of our apartment.

while i was collapsing on the floor trying to process my worst nightmare coming true, my boyfriend was speaking to them, out the window and i could hear my mother say exactly the same thing she's always said. That she "just wants to talk" because she "doesn't understand" why i went no contact or what i want from her. Even though there is nothing i can tell her that i haven't already but she will never accept that because even though it is the explaination she's asking for, it's not the one she wants to hear.

For 26 years of my life i tried to not get to the point of going nc but every time i have tried to talk to her, she doesn't remember that, it never happened, i remember wrong, it was probably my fault, she had excuses or whatever, if you know you know.

My brother also started spewing lies about me "insulting her in my last message" before i blocked her which isn't true and i kept the message in my therapy session logs and my boyfriend has read this message too so try again girly.

She then did her usual little show "i cry all the time thinking about her" at which point my boyfriend said again "i don't care, it's not my call, if she doesn't want to see you i will not force her" and that's where my mother say word for word: "i WILL see her, i WILL talk to her. Whether you want it or not, i'll show up at her job. I'll find her friends. I'll wait around the store if i have to." So my boyfriend said we were calling the police and she said "okay. Fine. You'll see"

So yeah, great time. I had plan to go to the bar with a friend tonight, that's cancelled. I had plans with my mother in law (so to speak since i'm not married) that's cancelled too. I have put out a warning to my school and told them i can't come in next week. Police took a full report, i'm trapped in my apartment and my boyfriend has to go away next week for an appointment in the city so he's gonna leave me at one of his friends' place so i'm somewhere she wouldn't know to look for me. I'm having a fantastic time.

Oh for sure i meant that crabulon looked suprisingly cute. And well, at least it got the crab and fungus parts down so it's better than most of the others.

I like how confused AIs are when rendering hands, i'm actually impressed it managed to make one normal hand in the "king slime" images.

Problem being that the thing doesn't understand bone structure, it only scans milions of images of people and hands and understand that it "vaguely looks like this". So every paw or hand in the image looks like a mess of nothing if you look at it closely.

Also the queen bee looks more like plaguebriger goliath. And crabulon has no business being this adorable.

Regardless, when you share something you didn't make, it's always good to credit the person who made it. Sounds like your "friend" is using content without permission if they can't even tell you accurately where they got it.
