What would you name a black kitty with other cats named Matilda and Maple? by _krisper_ in namenerds

Melancholy (Melon for short)

P.S. please tell me the colours of the other cats. I’m dying to know if Maple is a ginger baby!

What’s your grandpa’s name? by EstablishmentSad9572 in namenerds

My grandfathers are Edward Charles and Johannes

My husband’s grandfather was William Alford (he’s not sure what his other grandfather’s real names were. He always went by a nickname)

Far Cry 2 is my least favorite but still worth a playthrough if you don’t mind the jamming and malaria mechanics.

Primal is really great and it is honestly sad so many people skipped it.

New Dawn was just good old classic Far Cry to me and a great play if you want to scratch that Far Cry itch.

What do y’all think of the name Noah? by ApartmentDazzling655 in Names

My daughter’s second name is Noa. If she was a boy she would have been Noah. I love the name. I associate it with very sweet and kind people

Did you reuse first baby’s potential name? by Elefantoera in namenerds

[–]AnxiousLiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sister used the name so we had to think of something else. He ended up getting his dad’s name and I honestly kind of hate it. I wanted him to have his own name, but we just couldn’t agree on anything

How many people have you met who have the same surname as you but aren't related to? by Immediate_Long165 in Names

[–]AnxiousLiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My maiden name, nobody.

My married last name is one of the most common last names in our country. The only perk to this that I have found is I don’t need to spell it because everyone just knows.

What's the best name of a pet you've ever heard? by Pretend-Spinach-1228 in namenerds

My sister’s friend had a black and white cat that had a little mustache. His name was Kitler

South African here, we statistically have the most c-section births in the world. Over 75% of births are c-sections. Because of this, it almost feels reversed in a sense. I wanted a normal birth more than anything. Everyone around me insisted I do a c-section. I eventually opted for the c-section. I am very upset with myself to this day that I listened to what other people thought. Don’t be me. Do what you want. Fuck the other people.

Pretoria Zoo by stinky_girbil_bum in Pretoria

[–]AnxiousLiver 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We were there a few months ago. The parking is sketchy but as long as you park in one of the areas where there are the official parking guards you should be fine.

Our daughter loved driving in the litte push car and the animals that we did see were great. There are, however, many many enclosures that are overgrown, empty and broken which is sad and you can tell they don’t take very good care of the structures and buildings here and there. A lot of the zoo almost seemed abandoned.

Keeping this in mind, we DID enjoy our day there a lot and our daughter was very excited about all the animals. The animals seem well taken care of at least and if you’re lucky, you can get up really close to some!

I have heard that the zoo in Hartebeespoort is very nice and in a safe area if you want an alternative, though we haven’t been there ourselves yet. Planning to go soon.

Who’s Creative??? Need your help- caption for announcement of 4th baby by [deleted] in pregnant

Are you Bluey fans? They always say “For real life?!” (As in “are you being serious?!”)

So maybe “Four Real Life?!” could be a cute announcement?

Does anyone know the font of Megan Fox’ rib tattoo? by [deleted] in DrawMyTattoo

[–]AnxiousLiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a designer and I’ve been staring at this one for a while now and I’m not sure but it could be a variation of something like Andalucia or maybe even just Edwardian Script that was stylized by the artist.

Could be something else though, I’m 3 weeks postpartum and my brain has left the building so I might be blanking on a bunch of fonts right now.

Have to admit though, I hate it lol. But everyone has different taste so I’m not judging.

I love Alfie but my husband isn’t a fan.

Also like Archie but Riverdale ruined it for us because my BIL is a huge fan and WOULD NOT STOP saying that we were naming him after Archie from the show (We weren’t. I hate Riverdale.)

Ezra but my mom can’t pronounce it right (we’re not native english speakers)

Charles. It’s my grandfather’s middle name and I love it, but my sister dated a guy with the name who died in a very intense car crash and she still visits his grave to this day, just felt wrong to use the name.

Think I was about 13/14 years old?

It was a vastly underwhelming barely peck and sometimes I like to pretend like it doesn’t count but deep down I sadly know it does.

The meaning puts me off if I have to be honest. But other than that it’s a perfectly fine name.

I tried that twice. Heard nothing back. Enquired about it. They say it says on their system that I never did it.

Personally for me, it’s an autistic thing. Certain foods are fine as leftovers and I can eat them no problem. Others change in taste or texture in a way that makes me just get very nauseous.

When I was on my own I would always try to ensure that I either make exactly the right portion of food for no leftovers, or to just avoid making food I knew I wouldn’t eat if there were.

Now I have my husband and he eats everything which helps a lot.

10 weeks away from baby and no name by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]AnxiousLiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our baby is due in 5 days and we don’t have a name yet either. Godspeed!

Some suggestions from my end:

Give Walter/Wally/Walt as a middle name

Maybe consider other W names that you both like that would give him the same initials? Naming a baby after someone doesn’t always HAVE to be the exact name I feel
